0:00 now I suspect that many of you only clicked this video for the promise of
0:03 seeing me sporting some fashionable and practical Underpants and for those of
0:08 you who didn't want to see any of that Biz I guess all I can really say is
0:12 sorry because it's definitely coming later but a review of an outfit has to
0:18 start with First Impressions and as shallow as this may be first impressions
0:21 are normally of the outer layer of one's clothing not what's under them sorry
0:27 Tinder users
0:37 Kingston casc 310 series business grade ssds feature firmware based power loss
0:41 protection massive capacities and performance to spare in fact we're using
0:46 them for our new production server click right here to learn more about them so
0:51 it's right in the name of the maker of these clothes I picked out for my trip
0:55 to Asia Scott E vest their specialty is
0:58 vests so I guess that's where we'll begin now last time around I tried the
1:02 travel vest for men with its stunning cargo capacity that allowed me to carry
1:06 everything you see on this table here in the vest alone this time I wanted
1:12 something that wouldn't make me look quite so boxy but would still allow me
1:15 to carry a reasonable amount of stuff in it so I settled on the featherweight
1:19 vest for men for which a typical load out might look a little something like
1:24 this my left breast pocket contains a
1:27 phone or other portable electronic doad along on with a USB DAC and amp in the
1:32 velcro secured subpocket and the matching cable for that in the open
1:37 pocket in the right breast I could keep a couple of sticks of RAM in case I need
1:42 to upgrade a PC unexpectedly and you might laugh but that actually did end up
1:46 happening while I was over there on the outside are a mere two additional
1:51 Pockets with the left one being a pretty standard Fair zipper pocket with lots of
1:57 space in it maybe good for storing some extra napkins some headphones or a
2:02 gigantic microbe or something along those lines on the right containing an
2:05 elastic band to keep your water bottle ight and a carabiner button to a loop
2:12 inside for something you really don't want to lose like a uh keycap puller for
2:16 example opening it up on the left side we've got a pen holder some headphone
2:22 wire management stuff that I just never use because it's a pain when you go to
2:26 take the thing off and it pulls on your ears or worse yet you for get it in
2:30 there and wash your earphones as well as another zipper with an RFID blocking
2:35 wallet pocket with a separate mesh pocket for some walking around money and
2:41 an ID pocket that is probably more useful for like your uh you know gun
2:46 club membership that you keep in your vest as opposed to your driver's license
2:51 that no one is ever going to let you show them through a mesh pocket in your
2:55 jacket and that you don't want to accidentally you know leave in your
2:58 other vest in case you need it in an emergency on the right side of the
3:02 inside is another pen spot I chose to put a Sharpie there so I'll never be
3:06 caught without one and an iPad pocket which you can use for any large object
3:11 or electronic device if you're into that
3:14 sort of thing overall the vest struck a good balance between looks wearability
3:19 and cargo capacity for me or at least it would have if I hadn't gone to Southeast
3:24 Asia with it it was too hot for a vest
3:27 the vast majority of the time so the black hidden cargo pants 2.0 actually
3:32 got more mileage especially on my travel days when I knew I'd be in air
3:36 conditioning most of the time like the vest they've got a nano coating that in
3:40 theory keeps spills from making them appear wet and from staining and in
3:44 practice actually worked really well on baby food but they otherwise bear very
3:48 little resemblance to the vest they look just like pants in fact aside from the
3:53 magnetic clasps on the two fairly standard rear Pockets sure they're
3:57 comfortable but they're about the most boring looking ever from the outside but
4:01 as usual there's more to them than meets the eye without resorting to zipper
4:06 Pockets hidden caros are about as pickpocket proof as possible since a
4:11 potential Thief would have to be about elbow deep in your Biz before he or she
4:15 would be able to reach anything potentially valuable so on each side
4:18 there are they claim three but I'll call
4:22 it two and a qu Pockets a standard depth
4:25 normal one for like pocket change and your keys and I don't know maybe a
4:30 pocket calculator never leave home without one then a much deeper one like
4:35 all the way down to here that's kind of split at the bottom so in theory you can
4:38 separate things down there but in practice it's only really useful as one
4:41 ginormous pocket on each side so throughout my travels I usually kept my
4:45 passport Andor travel documents in one side and my cell phone the only valuable
4:50 thing I really carried with me in the other one which leads us finally to the
4:55 grand finale the travel boxers they're
4:59 just like regular boxers except they cost Thrice as much oh and they have
5:03 some cool features that yours probably don't so for starters they're made of an
5:07 extremely Breezy mesh look how see-through that is that was awesome for
5:10 my trip and second they have pockets are you going to be storing a ton of stuff
5:14 in these Pockets no of course not but you can keep some emergency cash in them
5:20 and a pack of one wipe Charlie peppermint scented butt wipes for men
5:25 and just in case you run into one of those bathrooms in Asia that has
5:28 absolutely no toilet paper whatsoever and on top of that the
5:32 package they come in is actually a little water resistant Ziploc bag for
5:36 your valuables while you travel which was pretty cool at least until until it
5:40 broke so I wouldn't really rely on that necessarily so it's conclusion time
5:45 while Scotty vest clothes can't do anything for your fashion sense uh Taran
5:50 gave the outfit I picked out two ironic thumbs up while he told me I looked
5:53 stupid Brandon said I looked like I was going fishing as did Luke and Nick said
5:58 I looked like the epitome of a
6:02 dad and honestly I don't find myself wearing them that often when I'm at home
6:06 anyway because I'm a creature of habit and throwing a pair of pants into the
6:09 weekly rotation that isn't my Urban stars from Costco will cause me to lose
6:13 track of things like where I put my phone or my keys this getup did help me
6:17 carry more stuff and stay more organized on my trip so ignoring the price I still
6:22 really like the Scotty vest stuff I just wish life was as simple as ignoring the
