0:00 so today I'm going to be doing a quick unboxing of some ocz fatality Edition
0:05 RAM so what makes fatality fatality well
0:10 first of all it comes in a red and black
0:13 package so that is for high performance
0:16 so it has high performance packaging next it is the official memory of uh
0:22 Championship gaming series signed by 12 times world champion Jonathan fatality
0:27 Wendell get the gear used by Pros okay
0:31 on the back you will see a portrait of Jonathan Wendell here in sort of like a
0:36 red and black style and then when you
0:39 open up the box okay we got a little
0:42 insert okay there was also a picture of him on the front and then on the
0:47 inside it shows you oh that's pretty nice how to install memory so uh you can
0:53 learn how in English German Spanish
0:56 French or Italian pretty good okay so so
1:00 why don't we get these modules actually removed from the packaging here and
1:03 we'll have a look so it uses ocz's by now very standard XTC extreme thermal
1:09 convection something along those lines heat spreader so that means that in
1:13 between okay instead of using a solid heat spreader like they used to ocz uses
1:18 the this one with holes and the theory
1:22 and it's been they they've demonstrated it to be Pro true in the past is that
1:26 the actual uh ventilation holes combined with the the the surface area that they
1:31 still have with the metal actually provides better cooling than the solid
1:35 heat spreaders used to so these particular ones have the fatality
1:39 branding on them you can see the one I have here today is a ddr2 module it's a
1:43 ddr2 u 1066 or PC2 8500 and it runs at
1:48 677 latency it's a 2 gig module so there
1:51 are 4 gigs total in this kit although there are fatality brand modules
1:55 available in a variety of different DDR types and speeds and whatnot this is
2:01 more of just a Showcase of the overall look of these modules so you got a black
2:04 PCB you got a nice black heat spreader so the look from the top and from the
2:09 side is quite nice when it's installed in your system and that pretty much
2:12 concludes my unboxing of the ocz fatality series Rand modules
