0:00 So Terrence is petering around doing his normal job, trying to make sure that he's productive and other stuff like that.
0:05 I'm going to hit him with a program called Screen Melter.
0:09 Now, I didn't make this program. The original idea of the program was made by a guy named Metalhead,
0:14 and it was massively improved upon by another guy named Napalm from the forum Roatap.
0:19 They're really good over there, and I used to frequent that forum when I was much younger.
0:23 They've done more advanced stuff. It's a fairly not super complicated program,
0:27 but either way, I wanted to give them credit because while I've minorly iterated on top of it,
0:33 I haven't really changed much, and it's still essentially Napalm's program.
0:36 What it does, once I hit Terrence with it, is it will do this to his screen,
0:44 which, while mainly harmless because there's an escape button programmed in,
0:49 which you could remove if you wanted to be so devious, it looks scary.
0:56 It's not actually that scary.
0:57 Now, if I wanted to be really mean, if he didn't think,
0:59 about the escape button, I could go into the code and remove the escape button
1:02 and rename the program something like svhost, so it's really hard to find,
1:07 but I'm not going to do that.
1:08 I'm going to leave the escape button in, and I'm not going to rename it anything
1:11 so he could find it really easily if he wanted to.
1:14 Let's try it.
1:15 Do you want to send me that article that you have on the rocket thing, NASA rocket thing?
1:41 Um, whoa.
1:46 What is that?
1:47 I almost wanted to get a video of it.
1:53 What did you do?
1:54 Nothing.
1:55 Terrence!
1:56 You obviously did something.
1:57 Terrence, why did you fricking break things?
2:00 I don't know!
2:02 What is this?
2:04 Does not make sense to me either.
2:07 What did you do?
2:09 I love how his first reaction was to take a video.
2:11 Well, yes.
2:16 Check set.
2:18 Let's see what happens when the mouse...
2:20 Oh, the mouse still works.
2:25 Well, that happened.
2:28 That screen's fine.
2:30 Okay.
2:31 Whoop, that was you!
2:42 I heard that clicking!
2:45 Is this a super thought?
2:49 I had the executable sitting right here on the side, and you opened a window, put it
2:53 here, and then worked on it.
2:55 And I was like how would I supposed to...
2:57 So when you left I moved it just like this, which is like the weirdest thought ever.
3:01 Yeah.
3:02 The executable is over here, and I have it over here.
3:04 And cut.
3:04 That's just wonderful.
3:06 So I just, yeah, I had to try and troll you.
3:10 Now, I got my start from places like Rowatab
3:12 and from people like Napalm,
3:14 who's currently melting in the background.
3:16 But if you want to get into coding,
3:17 you can check out people like thebarnerd.com,
3:19 which is Barnacles.
3:20 He does his codegasm segments every once in a while.
3:23 Or lynda.com or websites like Rowatab.
3:27 Or alternatively, from all of those,
3:29 you can go to amazon.com and the link down in the description
3:31 and pick up a book.
3:32 Books are honestly not that bad of a way
3:34 to learn how to code.
3:35 But as Napalm said, code to learn, don't learn to code.
3:39 So the best way to learn how to code is to just start.
3:42 Just start writing things.
3:43 I highly suggest start writing programs
3:46 and you'll start learning faster than you would
3:47 by just reading a book.
3:49 All right guys, thanks for watching.
3:50 This is Channel Super Fun, so like it, obviously.
3:53 Dislike it if you're a total noob.
3:54 And share, favorite, subscribe, all that kind of stuff.
3:56 I'll see you guys next time.
