0:03 are we live are we
0:08 live I think we might
0:12 be okay I'm going to wait for the twitch chat to catch up with me a little bit
0:18 we're going to see we're going to see if it's working you notice this isn't this
0:23 isn't uh the office you can kind of tell
0:26 this time that it's not pre-recorded I know you guys like saying that it's
0:31 pre-recorded not this time my friends not this time we're at my house um I
0:37 have neumonia I have a sinus infection
0:40 and I have a muscle issue with my neck
0:43 but I'm here also you can look it up in
0:47 the news there's a storm coming through BC and that is taking out the power in a
0:52 ton of different places and the power at
0:56 work is not working
1:00 at all not not going not not going great
1:04 so we lost power at work hours ago and
1:07 that was terrible I can see twitch chat it's easier to monitor twitch chat on my
1:11 own setup I'll I'll give my setup that it's doing doing well that way
1:16 um there will probably be coughs on this show again pneumonia so sorry I'm going
1:21 to say sorry about that already um lonus
1:25 is not going to be with me today I was going to co-host with Nick or Colton or
1:29 Taran or something like that um but I was diagnosed with pneumonia today and
1:35 we figured out I don't I didn't know like anything about it so apparently uh
1:39 my drugs um are still not going to make
1:44 me non-contagious for another couple days so I don't want to sit next to
1:48 someone so it's just me and we're at my
1:52 house because I don't want to go to someone else's house and get bacteria
1:56 everywhere and be all gross I was going to go to Nick's place cuz Nick has this
1:59 like nice looking couch and this cool like clock on the wall and stuff instead
2:03 of like my spare computer and my kitchen
2:09 um so yeah we're here wano's
2:13 happening topics uh there's uh the
2:18 world's largest solar project uh Samsung
2:21 is offering Note 7 owners $100 when they turn in their phone but stay with
2:25 Samsung I'm sure they're having a lot of troubles there those are the only two
2:30 news topics we have this is going to be a great week don't worry about it it's
2:34 going to be good um there's also the hyperloop one and Dubai future
2:38 accelerators uh they're building a hyperloop for
2:42 cargo and the LCD transparent side panel
2:45 that you guys saw a while ago actually
2:51 no this one is going on in NZXT h440
2:55 it's going to be available for pre-order so no one should buy it and they should
2:58 wait for it to actually come out because that's how pre-orders work anyways roll
3:03 the intro hope it
3:26 works Squarespace
3:30 crash books and Ma Welden which is why I have
3:35 this Super Fly shirt on instead of my
3:40 like usual Garb if you want to call it
3:43 that no bugs and on time we were almost on time we were not completely on time I
3:49 was all set up and ready to go but I'm not going to exactly tell you what it is
3:53 we have this new security system so I couldn't actually stream on the Linus
3:58 Tech account I was able to stream on the test account if you guys saw that so it
4:04 was like it was good we were ready but yeah we were we were a few minutes late
4:07 but pretty close it's pretty good so
4:11 yeah first one we're going to talk about actually
4:15 no let's take a second and talk about something that happened last week I got
4:20 called out lonus got called out I'm going to address this right here I'm going to post this in the comments which
4:25 is actually someone's Reddit comment I know you guys are going to be like a
4:29 what oh what um zaga
4:34 932 pointed out that we did some pretty [ __ ] coverage I mean wait I'm used to
4:39 being able to swear in this area usually on my stream I'm allowed to swear um um
4:46 um we did some pretty not very good coverage of
4:51 uh um the Oculus topic from last week so
5:00 we we basically said that Oculus was just like you can use cheaper computers
5:04 cuz we want to sell more headsets and I am sure that that is still part of the
5:09 problem or part of what's going on but
5:12 there was actually new software Tech that came out called asynchronous space
5:17 warp so I'm going to play this real quick and hope that this works is there
5:21 anything crazy on screen can I share my screen I think so uh okay let's watch
5:27 new resources AMD has implemented support for a new feature that will make
5:32 VR accessible and enjoyable to more people than ever before it's called
5:38 asynchronous space warp or ASW ASW works
5:42 by comparing previously rendered frames to detect motion between them and using
5:47 that information to extrapolate the position of scene components in the next
5:51 frame if you recognize this they've kind of done this for other things in other
5:56 ways AMD has done this kind of stuff before for uh mov movies I believe it
6:00 was or pictures or something reprojected frames to more accurately approximate
6:05 how they would look if they had been fully rendered combined with the
6:08 existing asynchronous Time Warp and quick response CU features asynchronous
6:13 space warp helps enable an incredibly smooth and comfortable VR can we all
6:18 talk for for a moment about how monotone
6:21 this dude's voice is our experience at a price more
6:26 accessible than ever before on AMD CP
6:30 and VR capable at a price more acceptable than ever before on AMD CPUs
6:36 and AMD capable gpus anyways um it it's
6:40 it it makes it so that you can have a lower frame rate but still get to 90fps
6:47 because of space warp Tech kind of filling in the gaps so it doesn't feel
6:52 quite so bad I need to check in with Nick to make sure there isn't like major
6:55 problems with the stream what is going on right now I'm getting so many
6:59 messages
7:05 oh oh
7:09 no I really hope this is recording
7:15 locally I didn't check that part before I went
7:21 live uh hold up is this going to kill the
7:26 Stream
7:35 I think we're going to be restarting the stream
7:40 now okay
7:47 bye oh
7:50 what I thought it would carry that setting over but I really don't think it
7:54 did
8:02 okay give me a second let me make sure it's not actually doing
8:07 this I it might it might be locally
8:10 recording that would suck so much come
8:13 on now please do it for
8:19 me what is this it might
8:26 be what is this
8:31 okay no I think we're good I think we're good I think it's
8:35 recording I think we're
8:40 fine this was created at
8:44 434 yeah
8:47 yeah we're okay it's been recording locally the whole time nobody needs to
8:52 freak out one problem though is I didn't
8:55 film a YouTube intro thing
9:04 um I literally just lost internet though oh Nick doesn't have
9:08 Internet it's a mess everything's a mess
9:12 don't worry about it we're going to continue the show anyways sorry about
9:15 the asynchronous time warp thing if you guys are interested in that Tech I don't
9:19 want to go like way too far into it but we did screw up our coverage last week
9:23 check out that Reddit thread that I posted in the chat and if you missed
9:28 that earlier check out the AR arive the thread link should be there with a
9:32 timestamp and you guys can check that out he Z zaga posted a ton of
9:38 information if you want to see how it works and blah blah blah blah blah and
9:41 it's all very well laid out there so please check that out should be easy to
9:47 do um next topic first actual topic I
9:51 guess we will check out the world's largest solar project it's apparently
9:57 going to generate electricity 24 hours a day which is pretty interesting it will
10:01 power 1 million us homes which I believe
10:04 is comparable to a nuclear power plant
10:07 which is actually pretty freaking Wicked
10:12 um let's see here give me one second if you guys want to see
10:16 it check this thing out that is
10:20 ginormous 110 megawatt I believe that
10:23 says oh no holy crap I don't know why it
10:27 says the 110 MW
10:30 when it says it would generate between 100 1,500 and 2,000 megawatt of power
10:37 enough to power about 1 million homes
10:40 that amount of power is as much as a nuclear power plant or the 2,000 megaw
10:44 Hoover Dam so they're trying to compare to the Hoover
10:49 Dam looking at how legendary the Hoover freaking dam is that's pretty cool when
10:53 it's a solar power plant looks like they found somewhere
10:57 pretty flat out in a desert kind of area and they're going with a spiral kind of
11:02 deal it looks really
11:07 cool that's quite awesome5 billion
11:10 Sandstone project very
11:15 awesome 100,000 mirrored Helio stats
11:19 captures the sun rays and concentrates it into 10 Towers equipped with a molten
11:23 salt energy Sol storage system the molten salt heated to more than 1,000°
11:29 then boils water and creates a steam turbine that can drive generators
11:34 247 that actually makes tons of sense I
11:37 get that at first I was like okay it's
11:40 solar how how are you generating power 24 hours a day I'm confused but now I I
11:46 sort of get it so yeah $5 billion pretty
11:50 expensive construction probably won't begin for another two or three years so
11:53 I guess that's a concept picture once construction begins Smith estimated the
11:57 project would create about 3,000 jobs
12:00 for about seven years so once it's up there probably won't be nearly 3,000
12:05 people working on it but 3,000 construction jobs for it to go up for a
12:09 little while uh would be great yes I'm
12:14 getting confused cuz now I can actively always see chat and that's not how it
12:18 usually goes on W show and there's so many freaking trolls like someone just
12:23 said said stream down in all capital letters and I was like oh no what did I
12:28 do wrong but then other people are actively talking about what I'm talking
12:34 about so I guess it's fine okay so that picture is of an
12:39 existing 10 times smaller installation so it's going to be 10 times bigger than
12:42 that picture was that's pretty awesome the company will also have to build a
12:47 new transmission infrastructure to carry the energy to Market which kind of makes
12:51 sense um and the generated power will likely be exported to the California
12:56 Market which also kind of makes sense
12:59 not too surprising uh two potential sites on Federal Land in NY County have
13:04 been shortlisted and some environmentalists are concerned about
13:07 the environmental impact of such a project um I imagine it would be
13:12 possibly relatively hard for things to grow under the solar panels yada y but
13:15 if you're going out in the middle of the desert at the same time
13:19 environmentalists being more worried about the environmental impact of a
13:23 solar plant compared to a nuclear plant
13:26 is something new as as far as I
13:31 know kind of kind of thought kind of thought that wasn't too much of a thing
13:36 not entirely sure but yeah clicking noise that's my chair I'm sorry look how
13:41 broken my chair is if I just lean watch you can see the the tops of my chair if
13:45 I just lean the chair just goes with me it's not supposed to that's not a
13:49 feature it's broken it's it's I have a terrible chair
13:54 I'm I'm working on it I'm trying to pick a new one but buying an actually
13:58 ergonomic chair is actually somewhat of a problem anyways Note 7 owners Samsung
14:03 to Note 7 owners here's a $100 for your phone this is a CNET article let me open
14:08 it up here really
14:12 quick U so they're saying that Samsung will give you $100 credit at carrier or
14:17 retail outlets who turn in their Note 7 but actually get another Samsung phone I
14:22 think the big problem that Samsung is happening right now the Agents of
14:27 NCIS no no autoplay audio ad CET That is rude I
14:33 don't have ad block on because I'm trying to be a nice person and you're
14:37 being a jerk anyways back to CET um so
14:43 yeah I think they're having problems with people buying like Apple phones or
14:47 whatever else after turning in their Note 7 and uh so they're trying to give
14:54 people 100 bucks I believe before they were giving people 25 bucks the title of
14:58 the this article um oh see in the dock it says Samsung to
15:06 Note 7 owners here's $100 for your phone
15:09 and then the title here is Samsung to Note 7 owners here's an extra $100 for
15:14 your phone that's a huge difference I
15:17 don't know if that was a copying problem or something but that's a huge
15:21 difference when I first read the title of this article before reading the notes
15:24 I was like what cuz I was pretty sure that
15:29 Samsung was trying to buy back their users and trying to buy back confidence
15:33 and stuff so I it's like why would they be cheaping the [ __ ] out of people they
15:36 are not what they're trying to do is if you turn in your Note 7 but still decide
15:40 to stay with Samsung they're trying to give you an extra hundred bucks so that
15:45 it can help incentivize that whole thing not super surprising so they're saying
15:50 that the offer comes after Samsung and the US consumer product safety
15:54 commission once again issued a recall for the Note 7 because it was blowing up
15:57 again
16:02 sorry for the coughing for the people that didn't notice uh or weren't here
16:05 for the beginning sorry I have pneumonia so there will be some coughing today
16:11 um the replacement units for the Note 7 were recalled as well so that was kind
16:16 of a problem um Samsung confirmed that
16:19 it had killed off half of the Note 7 and
16:23 warned consumers to power down and turn off their phones brutal I guess they
16:27 okay so they had remotely killed off that makes sense it's kind of scary that
16:30 they have that possibility uh when when
16:33 when they were open about the fact that they could Nerf your battery
16:37 remotely that I found interesting uh
16:40 when Samsung was talking about um how
16:44 they would Nerf people's battery down to like I think it was 65% of its total
16:48 actual capacity or something like that steam notifications oh man oh I can't
16:53 fix that uh uh I wait I have a solution
17:03 Boop there problem solved now no one can trol
17:08 me that way okay anyways um this isn't
17:13 super surprising uh I think it's
17:17 it's nice
17:23 um yeah people customers that opt for a
17:26 full refund and I think decide to go to another brand yeah like
17:32 customers who switch to another brand they still get the $25 that was
17:36 originally offered so if you decide to stick with Samsung I believe you get an
17:42 extra 75 so you get a total of $100 but
17:46 if you refund your phone and go with anybody you still get an extra 25 bucks
17:52 I think that's kind of cool I know everyone got sort of [ __ ]
17:57 over I got to watch my language I'm used to be able to like run my mouth a little
18:02 bit when I'm at home but no this is the way show come on now um but yeah it's
18:08 you did get a little bit screwed over you had to return your phone you had this phone that was going to possibly
18:13 try to kill you and whatever whatever
18:17 um but I don't know they're trying to do
18:22 something I just can't imagine them giving that much money back to every
18:26 single person if they were trying to do like a 100 to everyone that was even
18:29 jumping Shi to Apple that seems like a huge hit to
18:35 them I'm not sure we will see I keep on
18:38 getting distracted by the WAN chat usually when I'm at this computer the
18:42 chat isn't going this quickly because it's my little show anyways um there
18:47 isn't a ton to say for either of these topics and we're already into rapid fire
18:52 I think that's the fastest I've ever gotten into rapid fire cuz there was
18:55 only two main topics and both of them were extremely short for the people that
19:00 just tuned in no this is not LT there is
19:04 a huge like Monumental storm running
19:08 through BC right now um you can look it up on the news it's a big deal um and
19:14 the power at the office is gone so we had to stream somewhere I have pneumonia
19:19 and a sinus infection and like a few other things my body's going cray cray
19:23 right now so I'm infectious so I can't be near other people so I couldn't
19:27 stream with other people the plan was originally that we're going to stream
19:30 from Nick's house cuz he has like a nice looking background and stuff like that
19:34 mine's kind of junky anyways whatever
19:38 um and so but then I got diagnosed and
19:42 we were like okay it's probably not a good idea so now I'm streaming from home
19:46 this is actually where I normally stream from but I don't normally stream with my
19:50 camera this big so people can't normally see like that it's a random spare
19:55 computer setup in like my kitchen
20:00 anyways um yeah so we're here W show is
20:03 still happening yeah share it get lots of views anyways moving on uh hyperloop
20:10 one and Dubai future accelerators we'll build the first hyperloop for cargo
20:15 let's actually use just the tech crunch
20:18 article here so I'll post that in
20:24 chat give me one second I want to clean up these tabs it is a little annoying
20:29 doing W show by yourself because there's just so many little extra things to do
20:34 anyways uh Dubai future accelerators has created uh has been created by the UAE
20:41 alongside seven government entities committing to piloting cuttingedge
20:46 Technologies for the country DFA is an
20:49 initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation and part of the federal
20:53 endowment fund worth $275 million it's
20:57 designed to invest in an innovation which will shape the future of the uae's
21:01 industrial sectors including Transportation so they're trying to move
21:04 cargo that sort of makes sense there will be a 12-week program which has
21:08 taken over 2,000 applications from 73 countries less than 1% of the
21:13 applications were selected over 30 companies have been selected to take
21:17 part of the program and this includes the hyperloop one so there's a video of
21:21 the hyperloop 1 Dubai which we are going to watch here
21:26 give me one second
21:29 here we go we're on our way to Dubai where we're going to have our first resy
21:34 for installing
21:46 H when you have the best team in the world and a badass product it's you just
21:51 know it's going to
21:54 happen this is the wall room
22:07 what is the this is the War Room hold up come on they've got like fancy drapes
22:12 and a big chandelier and stuff and it's like like what is this where are they
22:17 right now is this some like estate
22:21 house why are they in like an
22:24 office there's like two quick put up whiteboards in like some weird thing in
22:30 the corner what I don't know so weird ad
22:36 block this is an ad block what are you guys even talking about there's an oh
22:39 that's not an ad Oh I thought it was anyways I don't have ad block on here so
22:44 whatever yo this is last pass not ad block get over
22:50 yourself all right Expo 2020 wait is
22:55 that a thing that would be cool
23:01 hey we're in the tallest building hey there's sand why don't you show us
23:04 anything about hyperloop this is the most useless video
23:09 ever hey we have a tablet it's not when
23:13 anymore it's it's happening now God I am so sorry that I showed you
23:19 guys that video I am so sorry that I played that
23:23 on stream cuz that was literally 100%
23:27 useless I just wasted 1 minute and 1 second plus
23:33 the amount of time that I made fun of the room that they were in of all of
23:36 your lives because that was literally completely
23:41 useless I apologize moving on uh I have
23:45 nothing more to say about that because my notes were done and that video was
23:49 completely useless so we're going to move on to the LCD transparent side
23:54 panel that is now available for pre-order which none of you should do um
23:58 because pre-orders are dumb
24:02 but oh that's loud please don't autoplay
24:06 music on your website that makes me want to suggest not pre-ordering even more
24:12 but there you go There's the link to I believe uh Frost
24:16 wolf let me share my screen here for a
24:21 second there we go frostwolf gaming
24:24 series it's gaming 100% if you guys
24:28 could read that bit it's pretty small text and it's light gray on a white
24:33 background uh multitasking 100% rendering
24:38 95% oh
24:42 yeah yay now I've been thinking about doing a
24:47 like how to do one of these on your own
24:50 kind of videos for a while would you guys be interested in that a lot of my
24:54 DIY videos don't get a ton of views
24:57 let's do oh we can do a straw okay give me a
25:01 second
25:05 strawley um make a
25:09 DIY transparent LCD side panel
25:15 video yes
25:19 no turn it
25:23 drum uh improve spam prevention sure
25:27 let's do that that that sounds fun all right guys
25:32 vote so like it looks really sick and
25:36 the case they're showing it off here is the h440 I believe from NZXT it looks a
25:41 I think it looks very cool I know my keyboard is super freaking loud I am
25:46 sorry um these are Cherry MX Blues this
25:50 is the keyboard that I talked about in the video when I was like it's got some
25:55 weight to it that is this keyboard right here that this is also the keyboard that
25:59 I repaired this is also the keyboard that showed up in my mineral o video
26:03 this is the keyboard that shows up everywhere it's got very loud very
26:07 tactile very clicky what was
26:11 that oh this isn't a gif it's a YouTube
26:17 video is this just a YouTube video that they have on
26:22 repeat why would they just make it a
26:27 gift what
26:30 oh I kind of want that to happen again anyways this is that keyboard um which
26:36 is why it's so loud so I'm sorry about that I will type as little as possible I
26:40 want to see the results of that straw pole uh but I guess I should put those
26:44 on screen so give me a second here I
26:48 want to like I can't believe that that's just okay let's
26:56 see results
26:59 see look there there's an ad right these are ads I don't have ad block install
27:04 yes okay so everyone wants it but then H I don't know I if I can find the time to
27:09 do it I will but my my DIY videos have not gotten a huge amount of views but I
27:15 will I will try okay I will try um but
27:19 yeah people do seem to want the transparent LCD side panel thing I think
27:23 that one would be maybe a little
27:26 cooler than some of the other videos
27:30 that I've made that would be fair oh you
27:33 see why is it a YouTube video and then do they have it auto
27:39 replaying apparently yeah what why go
27:43 through the process of like making your site auto replay the same YouTube video
27:48 when you could just make it a gift oh I don't know that seems
27:53 crazy Onie frostwolf gaming
27:56 series it's it's all in German oh never
28:01 mind not
28:06 German this thing is cool I guess they want you to buy oh my
28:12 God it's $500 for the case and the LCD
28:24 panel okay let me go back to my screen real quick NZXT h440 I'm going to check
28:30 on NewEgg
28:34 newegg.com once I'm here and it stops freaking out I'll share my screen again
28:38 there we go screen share how much is an h440 let's be fair
28:44 it's
28:49 $119 this thing is expensive oh my God
28:53 that's 400
29:01 whoa that's a lot of money that's like
29:04 720 can as someone just posted in chat
29:08 and I'm pretty sure that's right oh my God I thought that was $400
29:16 Canadian that is so much money okay we're going to move on I'm going to very
29:20 probably do my how to make your own transparent video thing it's not that
29:25 easy that's part of the problem and it's very easy to screw up
29:31 um that was a lot of
29:34 money I don't think I could spend that much money on a singular side panel um
29:40 but yeah we will see apparently foxcon
29:44 deploys 40,000 robots in China the last time I heard about this
29:49 um they had deployed a huge amount of robots but I believe it was in
29:54 Taiwan and they were super proud of it
29:58 um which is an interesting way to look
30:01 at robot replacement cuz usually when a company fires a huge amount of people
30:07 they're like oh we're so sorry like we can't we can't manage this or the
30:12 markets are shifting or like we failed in this way and foxcon lays off a huge
30:18 amount of people replaces them with robots and just like we're awesome we
30:21 just replaced all these people and we don't need them screw all those people
30:26 we don't need anybody we can just robots do everything screw them all which is
30:31 interesting not very conventional um from what I've seen most
30:36 companies do but you
30:39 know or they just ignore it like uh what
30:42 is it McDonald's has been trying to replace people all the freaking time
30:47 using the automated telling machine things um but they just don't talk about
30:52 it as far as I know they're just
30:56 like people like these telling machine things and we're just nope it's fine
31:03 anyways so foxcon is continuing to
31:06 reduce the number of workers at its plants by creating digital device or
31:09 that are creating digital devices sorry
31:16 um foxcon says that they can produce 10,000 of these robots
31:21 annually um for the kshan factory alone
31:24 foxcon has cut 60,000 employees so I believe that was what happened earlier
31:30 this year that lius and I talked about um and they're saying with the increase
31:35 of labor costs and with the younger generation's lack of interest in
31:40 production line work don't think that's the problem many companies have launched
31:44 huge investments into automation I think they've just done that because it's
31:48 ridiculously cheap once it's implemented um they also plan to build robots for
31:53 medical and health applications so I think foxcon is trying to um
31:58 let me jump to the China news
32:04 website here we go uh I think foxcon is
32:08 trying to automate their own business to
32:12 save money on labor but also as kind of
32:15 an advertisement to other businesses showing off look look at look at what we
32:20 can do we make relatively highly Advanced things we manufacture
32:24 relatively highly Advanced things and we do it automated
32:28 and then they're going to be like look we can make these robots for you for
32:32 your applications as well and I believe they want that to be a huge part of
32:36 their model um so yeah I think that's
32:41 honestly about it foxcon wants to kind of rule the world with robots and
32:46 they're not shy about that at all I think they're going to brag about it every single time it happens because
32:51 they want to start um making that money
32:55 off robots so yeah anyways someone just
32:59 reminded me so I think I'm going to do it now give me one quick
33:05 second usually these are kind of Linus's
33:09 thing but here we go sponsor spots first
33:14 one Mac Welden this shirt it looks
33:18 fantastic if I do say so myself I like
33:22 it a lot I don't think I've ever shown off a shirt on the show before but you
33:26 know it's fine it's comfortable it feels nice I'm wearing it right now it's a Mac
33:30 Welden shirt as you know Mac Welden believes in smart design premium fabrics
33:35 and simple shopping um yeah we've we
33:39 we've bought underwear this shirt and some socks they all feel great it was
33:43 easy to buy um they have a line of
33:46 silver underwear which I'm not going to show you
33:51 um cuz twitch but they're comfortable uh
33:55 the the silver which is weaved into the fabric helps a eliminate Ober odor obers
33:59 odors you can look up how that works um they want you to be comfortable so if
34:03 you don't like your first pair you can keep it and they will still refund you
34:06 no questions asked maybe don't be a jerk and just do
34:12 that knowing that you're going to request the refund but if you don't actually like it you can request a
34:16 refund everything is good they're nice guys not only does Mac Welden do
34:20 underwear socks and shirts they all look good they perform well as well which is
34:25 great I haven't used this to work out in because this is the first day I've had
34:29 it and I have pneumonia so that wouldn't work out very well would it but I did
34:33 work out in their underwear and it went completely fine so if you head over to
34:37 macon.com you get 20% off which is a
34:40 pretty solid percentage using the promo code Tech tips now a classic sponsor of

35:31 thing you should tweet him about this is when an entire website is just on one
35:36 page lonus hates it when you ever have to click a link on a website that tastes
35:40 somewhere else on the website why would you have to have additional clicks when
35:44 you could just scroll down more lonus
35:47 loves cover pages they're like his favorite thing seriously anyways moving
35:54 on everyone can now publish content with the Apple news format Direct ly from
35:58 their Squarespace blog module as well which is fantastic and if you decide to
36:02 sign up sign up with Squarespace you can make uh use of offer code wan to get 10%

36:49 professional with the cloth too you can do the Mac weld ins side of that um and
36:54 get paid faster you can try freshbooks completely free for 30 days at
36:57 freshbooks.com /w and make sure you type when in the how did you hear about a
37:02 section freshbooks you can like if you have expenses you can take a picture of
37:06 the expense with your phone and it handles everything on the app you can
37:09 tell when someone has read your invoicing email so you know if they're
37:13 just being lazy and not paying you on time you can set up deposits so people
37:18 have to pay you a little bit before you actually show up and do your work which is great so you actually know they're
37:24 not going to completely screw you over when you show up you can see who owes
37:27 you what very easily if you have any questions you can call them up and you
37:32 can speak to a real human uh no phone
37:35 tree no escalations no return calls just
37:38 answers everything is fine so again freshbooks.com enter when and the how
37:42 did you hear about a section and they also have a Mobile card reader now so
37:46 you can like read cards on I believe your phone and your tablet too nice and
37:51 easy back to the normal show being energetic with your voice when you're on
37:56 camera when you have pneumonia is not the easiest thing so I don't know how
38:00 long this Show's going to go but I don't want to stop you guys right when I just
38:04 did the sponsor spots cuz that seems super lame so I'm going to keep going
38:09 we're going to move up soilent halt sails of their
38:13 bars investigation into their illness stuff continues my mom even called me
38:18 about this because my mom knows that I'm kind of into you know Squarespace and
38:22 stuff or what soilent anyways can't blame that one on
38:27 no um so she was worried that I was eating
38:30 These Bars this is so normally Squarespace deals in liquidy stuff
38:34 originally it was a mix that you mix with water then they started just coming
38:37 in the bottles or the mix and then they had the bottle that has some coffee
38:41 stuff in it and then they started trying to make these
38:48 bars H but apparently a few people got
38:52 ill after eating some of the soilent snack bars and it was because of the
38:56 soilent snack bars possibly I don't know if that's
38:59 completely confirmed but it's pretty sure at this point soent has halted all
39:04 of their sales and their shipments and have asked people to throw the bars away
39:09 um and is refunding people as did I say
39:12 Squarespace again did I seriously do
39:18 that my bad I didn't mean to I'm sorry
39:22 anyways um they're reaching out via email to customers uh who have ordered
39:28 bars in the past blah blah blah blah blah let's go to uh their blog real
39:33 quick let's check this out yes I did I'm sorry I'm talking about swent squares
39:38 space is stuck on my head sometimes I do these weird things where I see a word
39:42 that starts with a certain letter and then just every other word that starts
39:46 with that letter becomes that word for some reason anyways um this is soilent
39:52 we're talking about not Squarespace Squarespace is fine Squarespace is not
39:56 recalling nutrition bars for making people sick Squarespace makes great
40:01 looking uh helps you make great looking websites there you go actually they make
40:05 great looking websites too squarespace.com looks kind of wonderful
40:09 anyways soet yeah there they're offering if they
40:16 haven't contacted you and you're like what the hell and you've ordered some
40:19 bars you can contact them at info sent.com I almost just said info at L
40:23 medag group.com oh it's not even an email
40:30 okay um we are deeply sorry if any
40:33 customer had any negative experiences with the soilent bar I was reading on I
40:37 believe was it their Instagram or their Twitter or something comments that
40:40 people had and there was a bunch of people saying that they had eaten and
40:44 consumed the bars and had no problems with it at all um but there was also
40:51 people that were claiming that they did have problems so seriously if you have
40:56 any of these bars unless it's for a prank and you're going to no I'm not even going to go there
41:00 nope no no no just return them or throw
41:04 them away and get your refund similar to
41:07 the Samsung phone if you're someone who is eating soilent bars and bought a
41:15 note7 you just didn't have a lot of luck with your purchasing decisions recently
41:20 did you I'm sorry to hear that I feel
41:23 for you I hope you get your refunds and I hope everything goes okay
41:27 that's that's all I have to say your refunds are not going great um soone
41:34 someone in the chat said an allergy problem possibly I know soent in the
41:38 past has had some minor issues with
41:41 their quality control so I wonder if it's something going on with how they
41:45 made the bar as well let me just check this really quick no that's an email not
41:50 a Hangouts I'm just wondering if Nick is going to send me a message being like Yo
41:54 dude you screwed up I don't know if I did something wrong um uh moving
42:04 on I need to figure out where I'm
42:09 going oh what I didn't even know this was a
42:13 thing and this is going to make me really super
42:18 sad the title of this is star s in single player is delayed indefinitely
42:31 what what I'm so sad right now
42:37 what cloud Imperium games has announced that star s single player campaign will
42:41 be delayed indefinitely reason being is that there are huge chunks of it still
42:45 unfinished cig had originally promised that this mode would ship in 2016 okay I
42:50 think we all knew that wasn't going to happen um but now that won't be
42:55 happening
42:59 part of the problem comes from them overhauling their engine which some cig
43:03 developers say it's been more work than creating a new one from scratch full
43:08 game's release date is
43:15 unknown so these are their current problems that they
43:20 have um pathf finding logic full
43:24 animation integration improve combat logic mission system integration
43:28 enhanced flight AI those are some pretty core concept issues this does seem a
43:33 little click baity though I guess I didn't share my screen that would be a
43:36 slight problem if you wanted to read along with me there we go
43:41 um does seem a little click
43:44 batty let me let me look up real
43:49 quick indefinitely yeah so indefinitely
43:54 literally means for one Unlimited or unsp specified period of time I think
44:00 normally when people say indefinitely they kind of usually mean
44:05 the unlimited side of things as in it's
44:08 not happening I don't think that's at all
44:13 what cig said because I watched this live stream and I was like I don't
44:17 remember them saying that so it was delayed I'm pretty sure
44:22 we all knew this was going to be a thing we all knew it wasn't going to release
44:26 in 2016 so they still have problems which are pathfinding logic full animation
44:31 integration improved combat logic mission system integration enhanced
44:34 flight AI object container streaming GPU
44:37 and CPU optimizations there's a lot for them to
44:44 do
44:47 but I think a a more proper way to say
44:50 it would be delayed maybe not delayed
44:55 indefinitely
44:59 that's all I would say there's some debate in the chat over
45:04 whether or not in definitely means forever permanently or if it means just
45:08 a short period of time however you take it is however you
45:12 take it but literally part of the definition is that it's possibly an
45:16 unlimited amount of time so I'm going to go
45:20 with that they probably should have just said delay instead of delayed
45:24 indefinitely anyways apparently a Chinese company has bought
45:28 a major Stak in Newegg this was posted
45:32 in the Wall Street Journal that's kind of interesting Paul
45:37 and Kyle and Steve and all them don't work there anymore China firm expected
45:41 to invest 20 billion to $30
45:49 billion I don't think that's just in New
45:52 Egg I think that's in a bunch of different things to read the full story
45:55 subscribe or sign in
46:00 I don't have a Wall Street Journal account so we're not going to look at
46:03 this article I'm just going to talk to you about what's inside because whoever
46:06 made the notes for this apparently does have a Wall Street Journal account uh
46:11 reports in September of significant investment from hanga liaan interactive
46:17 Information Technology Company Limited woo uh which would allow Newegg to
46:22 accelerate their pursuit of the company's strategic initiative has
46:27 resulted in a bid towards controlling a majority of the company's shares wow
46:32 deal is estimated to be around 2.63
46:36 billion will add liazon interactive in
46:39 bolstering its Global comp will Aid not add I can read in bolstering its Global
46:45 competitiveness allowing for a large expansion into the American market so I
46:48 think they're just like straight up buying their way into the states that is
46:52 pretty intense um yikes
46:59 uh one not dollars uh nope 2.63 billion
47:04 US I will literally post that number in
47:07 the chat there you go literally says
47:12 USD USD so yep 2.63 billion USD they're
47:17 buying a uh controlling share of the
47:20 company so that's over 50% or that's
47:24 okay that's not necessarily true
47:30 anyways it's probably a huge portion of the company I think they're buying a
47:33 very massive amount um apparently HP is going to axe
47:38 up to 4,000 jobs over the next three years this is an RS Technica article RS
47:44 Technica is pretty
47:49 awesome um HP aing 4,000 jobs isn't
47:52 pretty awesome though CEO Dion weasler
47:55 really hope I said that correctly says markets are challenging but the vendor
47:59 is confident with their strategy planning to trim Workforce up to 18%
48:04 with the loss of between 3,000 and 4,000 jobs by
48:08 2019 so if you work at HP possibly a
48:12 good time to try to find an out maybe
48:16 it's because they're trying to sell stuff like this I don't know like I used to work at
48:21 a Best Buy for a few years there on and
48:25 off in the Summers and stuff between school to try to save their money these
48:29 kind of things never ever
48:32 sold like I actually don't think we ever sold one in the entire time that I was
48:38 there why are you still making this maybe okay let me see in the let's do a
48:50 straw all inone all in one W Windows PC
48:58 yes no turn so this is kind of a weird
49:02 question because I'm saying all in one Windows PC yes or no but I'm defining it
49:08 by like are you interested do you know people that are interested yes or no
49:12 that's kind of where I'm going with that but I'm interested to see what people say because like seriously I don't I've
49:17 I don't think I've ever seen one in someone's home um we had two at the Best
49:23 Buy that I worked at and no one ever bought them
49:27 ever uh if someone did end up buying
49:30 them they were so heavily discounted by the time that I was leaving that someone probably got it for like 50% of the
49:35 freaking cost uh that has 3D scanning abilities with Intel real sense great
49:40 you could just buy a real sense camera and then have it anyways on a normal
49:44 computer why does it matter I don't know this stupid I'm not
49:51 I'm not into the Windows Allin ones kind of weird let's see the results on this
49:59 so no I want that I want to do
50:05 that so we can see maybe hey look Best
50:10 Buy oh man um you guys can't even see
50:14 that that's an ad on my other monitor geez so many ads um Allin one PC 74% of
50:21 people not interested at all and don't know anyone that's interested 14% of
50:26 people might know someone that's interested or
50:29 be slightly interested at all and then 12% of people are voting
50:33 turnip awesome super
50:36 great I don't know guys maybe that's
50:39 just the wrong product but anyways they're planning on shaving millions of
50:44 the company's costs by laying off those workers the tech giant staff headcount
50:48 as of last November stood at 50,000 workers um that's pretty intense
50:54 apparently the job Cuts would begin in 2017 and be done by 2019 so again if you
51:00 work at HP right now heads up um HP
51:03 anticipates to be in Cur in connection with the
51:09 plan 350 million to 500 million in
51:12 restructuring and other charges due to both labor and non-labor actions of
51:18 these amounts HP expects to incur approximately 200 million in labor costs
51:23 related to Workforce reductions w the
51:26 printer and PC maker predicts from the that from 2020 the layoffs will generate
51:32 gross annual run rate Savings of approximately 200 to 300 million so
51:36 it'll cost them a lot up front and they're hoping that they save money in
51:39 the long run that is pretty brutal I don't
51:45 know poor people that work at
51:49 HP I I have a hard time ever really feeling that bad for HP but poor people
51:54 that work at HP anyways moving on uh apparently there's
51:59 a rumor that more uh Nintendo NX leaks
52:04 have happened including a price apparently will cost $300 for the system
52:08 and $400 for a bundle these are Us doll
52:13 um comes from a source over Reddit so we all know that is just definitely
52:19 genuine totally we'll launch with
52:22 Zelda um and an unspecified Mario title
52:28 I don't think it launching with Zelda was super surprising okay good I'm not
52:32 signed into the forum so I will video share here I just made need to make sure
52:36 I wasn't signed in um apparently aiming for 1080p 60 aiming
52:43 for 900p in handheld mode um whatever
52:46 handheld mode necessarily is I think it's still up in the air a little bit um
52:51 the source is this YouTube thing so I'm not going to click on that just in case
52:55 because who knows um but
52:58 yeah there we
53:02 go not super interesting I don't know I'm super excited for the NX but I I I
53:10 don't know if this is a problem or not but I just don't really get that excited
53:14 for rumors like the price on that isn't too
53:18 bad $300 for the system is the same
53:21 price as an Xbox One S uh the bundle I
53:25 wonder what that's about because $100 more for a bundle maybe that's if you
53:29 get Zelda and Mario that could maybe
53:32 make a little bit of sense not entirely sure but yeah bundle price there who
53:38 knows we're seriously running out of topics this was a very very short
53:42 week um valve has showed off a VR prototype
53:48 this is something I can easily talk about let's go to video share so new
53:53 controller there which uh
53:57 looks pretty
54:00 weird I don't know what's going on
54:06 there it's going around his wrists and there's something on the back of his
54:10 hand and then there's like this thing in the middle of his hand which looks like
54:14 you would hold on a trigger it it looks
54:18 very odd I don't really know what else to say other than that it looks very odd
54:22 you can see what I've maybe been looking for on Amazon lately
54:27 um anyways but yeah looks kind of weird I don't know what's going on with that
54:31 but it does look also super prototype so other things could happen and that's all
54:36 they're really showing off apparently wow this article was not nearly as
54:40 interesting as it could have been uh can make those pictures bigger
54:45 yep there we go that
54:48 looks not
54:51 comfortable but again it's a prototype it'll get better even the LEDs and stuff
54:56 exposed IR LEDs so yeah it'll get better controller
55:02 sits in the palm of your hand it doesn't extend much around the outside and then I guess they're moving that big ring to
55:07 just like the back of your wrist mainly compacting it more it does look like
55:11 it'll probably honestly be better um
55:15 than what they currently have but I don't know if I'm more interested in
55:20 that than the touch controllers the touch controllers are a pretty good
55:25 implementation of VR controllers to be completely
55:29 honest that's pretty brutal it's G to be a much more interesting fight once those
55:33 touch controllers come out we've already ordered some by the way so once they're
55:37 released hopefully we'll get those pretty quick and I'll get a a review that no one will watch of the uh Oculus
55:42 touch controllers out which will be great yeah that'll be good um BMW put
55:47 self-driving into the spotlight with the new Five series so I'm going to post
55:52 this in the chat as well um
55:58 there we go uh so
56:01 more more to the Five series than just a set of radar driven cruise control
56:06 systems there's there's more to us than just some radar driven cruise control
56:10 systems we go deeper than that that's what BMW is trying to say it also takes
56:15 care of acceleration steering and breaking up to 210 kilm per hour or 130
56:22 mph it uses a camera mounted on the front the system will also Auto
56:26 automatically adapt to changing speed limits although drivers can force a car
56:31 to push 15 km per hour or 9 miles per
56:35 hour above if they
56:40 want interesting so I wonder if that's a
56:44 pre-programmed pushing it above because this is using Drive Assist so there okay
56:49 to clarify there they're not like capping how fast you can drive by
56:54 slightly above the speed limit I think it's when you have the like Lane
56:59 assist Auto driving thing enabled that you can only go slightly
57:04 above it's kind of interesting new 5 series releases on February 11th of 2017
57:10 and there was not very much in terms of further information there it is
57:14 controlled by the driver so autonomous Drive isn't technically at fault if you
57:19 uh get a speeding ticket that results
57:22 from you forcing the autonomous driving to go above what it wants too that kind
57:26 of makes sense I mean that completely makes sense
57:34 sorry Google's deepmind AI team has a
57:38 memory boosted AI that can help you navigate the subway um they develop a
57:42 memory boosted neural network that can create and work with sophisticated data
57:47 structures which is the deepmind AI team I believe we already knew that it has an
57:50 example of the map of the London Underground let's see if we can actually
57:55 see this
58:00 nope oh man news was really weak this
58:04 week see what I did there same same
58:07 sounding word different actual word people trying to squish on the subway
58:11 and no examples who oh
58:15 wait no no thanks end
58:22 Gadget ah brutal yep so there's no
58:26 examples at all um there's really not
58:30 much else to say the examples are like if they decide to do it this way that
58:35 would be cool so they're saying example if it has a map of London Underground it
58:40 could figure out the quickest path from stop to stop to tell you where you'd end
58:43 up after following a rote
58:47 sequence meaning that Google's memory based uh or memory boosted AI could help
58:52 you get from train to train if you're wondering where to go to be completely
58:56 honest I was in London not that long ago and their underground is pretty easy to
59:00 figure out
59:03 um but some of them aren't so that could be rather helpful um yeah that's that's
59:11 pretty much all there is to that and then we only have one topic
59:16 left but the show's like barely been going on for an hour so not entirely
59:23 sure what I'm going to do then Colton like wared me today he was like there's
59:28 not much in the duck cuz we ran out of power partway through the day so yeah um
59:34 but anyways I'm going to talk about a Nikon DSLR with Subzero Peltier cooling
59:41 uh says the astronomer's camera of
59:44 choice okay
59:49 why whoa okay look at this thing okay I
59:53 finally have something cool to show you guys who
59:56 what that's
60:01 nuts why would you need
60:05 that oh my God that is
60:08 crazy increasing image sensor sensitivity oh that's pretty cool I bet
60:15 you Brandon would be way more interesting to uh talk to about this
60:20 because I have no idea why you would ever need a giant Peltier cooler on your
60:25 camera but he probably does there's a view from the front so you can see it
60:29 sticking out of the back sensor cooling system for a very for very low electric
60:33 noise gotcha that makes
60:36 sense then it has like an anti-d doing
60:41 System modified filter for increased
60:45 sensitivity use without battery
60:49 okay interesting
60:53 interesting I wish they had a video
61:00 this is apparently an example of the kind of photos you can take with the Nikon
61:05 d5500 a cooled camera with a refactor
61:10 telescope attached to the front I mean it's a cool
61:16 photo people are asking where lonus is uh lonus had a
61:20 baby so for those who didn't catch the
61:23 very beginning of the stream and I'm definitely buying time here because I
61:27 haven't been doing W show long enough and there is no topics left um allius is
61:32 out with a new baby he had his third baby everything went fine they're doing
61:36 well but they are at home um so he was not at work um and then so lonus and
61:44 Avon are both on maternity leave trying to take time to themselves and while
61:48 they're gone all possible [ __ ] is hitting the
61:52 fan so there's a giant giant storm like
61:55 let me see if I can actually find this [ __ ] it I mean
62:01 who oh I'm used to be able to swear when
62:04 I'm streaming in this area because this is my personal streaming
62:07 area I'm sorry okay
62:13 um BC
62:16 storm
62:19 uh here we go here's a topic we're going
62:23 to move on uh 75,000 customers without
62:26 power at height of second um BC storm is
62:31 this even what's happening right now yes this is an article from today so I did
62:36 find the correct thing you can see trees being pulled out of the freaking ground
62:40 trees falling over onto telephone lines
62:43 I believe this is three different pictures of the same thing let's play
62:46 this video from Pat Wong uh some waves and wind flying
62:53 around uh anyways we don't have power at the office right now um so we weren't
62:58 able to do the WAN Show from the office we were going to do the WAN Show from
63:02 Nick's house and I was going to co-stream it with either Colton Taran or
63:08 Nick um but then the problem with co-
63:12 streaming it with Colton Taran or Nick is that today I just got diagnosed with
63:19 pneumonia a sinus infection and I have
63:22 some problem with my neck which is causing muscle tighten
63:26 which is being Amplified by the coughing and the sneezing from the pneumonia and
63:31 the sinus infection which is causing a
63:34 headache boom triple whammy so giant
63:39 storm baby just got here I'm sick
63:43 literally three times over so that's why the show is
63:49 here at my house and not somewhere else
63:52 because I can't co-host it at somewhere else's at some else's house because I
63:57 will make them horribly horribly sick so
64:01 uh yeah that's what we got for now back to uh video share this is talking more
64:08 about the storm that's hitting BC here
64:13 um apparently you can't see the dock there's a dock here because it's just
64:17 covered up by water this storm that's hitting us is the remnants of a typhoon
64:23 I believe it's the like typhoon's gone but energy from the typhoon is still
64:27 coming apparently there's still a third storm on its way that's expected on
64:32 Saturday that's tomorrow when the remnants of super
64:36 typhoon SAA will be arriving then so
64:40 there's going to be even more power outages there's a lot of fire engines
64:44 and stuff running around all over the place um I wish I didn't have pneumonia
64:48 and a sinus infection and a neck problem because I'd love to be outside trying to
64:53 haul trees off roads and make sure that people are okay I've already messaged my
64:58 neighbors upstairs and told them like hey I've got non- perishable food and
65:03 blankets and a lot of board games so if you guys if we run out of power we can
65:08 kind of Hubble up a little bit actually no we can't I pneumonia forgot about
65:12 that part I can give you guys board games and things if you need them um but
65:17 then I was sure they were ready so I messaged them but I'm sure you're
65:20 probably fine and they were like yep we're good we got lots of non-
65:24 perishable food and blankets and board games and if you need those too so yeah
65:29 between myself and the upstairs neighbors we'll all be fine don't worry
65:33 about us um but yeah Hall trees with your
65:38 convertible no my cont my convertible is super dead um I guess you haven't heard
65:43 the updates there's a video I'm not going to link it because it's self-promotion whatever stuff but
65:47 there's a video by my fuel injectors and fuel pump blew up while I was on a
65:51 bridge and now I have a new car it's it's been years man you're old old
65:55 school um anyways but oh PlayStation VR
65:59 someone just said PlayStation VR in chat I'm really hurting for topics cuz I'm
66:02 done the whole land show talk because nothing really happened this week um but
66:08 yeah PlayStation VR we have an order in for that we will be checking it out um
66:14 from what I've seen so far it's not going to uh blow my mind at all but it
66:21 looks it looks It looks interesting I don't know I don't like the idea that
66:26 you can't turn around um that kind of bugs me yeah yeah
66:35 on the spectrum of FS here Let's
66:39 do let's do a WAN Show first uh we're
66:43 going to do ghetto painting with
66:46 Luke so let's go video
66:49 share so on the spectrum of
66:52 VR you have
66:57 uh let's go
67:04 op oh man writing and paint is pretty
67:08 difficult and
67:17 transparent this is going to be everyone's favorite part of the show
67:20 right this is just the best thing that's ever happened on W show right totally
67:26 hell yeah and then let's
67:31 go uh
67:36 free o o and then
67:46 tethered so on this spectrum thing
67:49 you've got like opaque and tethered so you've got okay so Vive Oculus
67:56 um the Sony thing and a few others on the
68:04 oh okay so free doesn't mean like money free free means there's no tether um I
68:11 was going to do no tether and then I was like it's just too much writing um so
68:15 opaque and free you've got like the uh
68:19 Google dream thing and you've got
68:23 Samsung's gear VR
68:26 uh transparent and tethered there is one of these but I don't remember what it's
68:31 called and then transparent and no tethered you've got the Microsoft Holo
68:38 lens um wow that's
68:42 terrible in this spectrum is where you're seeing most of the performance
68:48 right now opaque and tethered so you've got like the Vive and the Oculus Rift
68:53 because they're tethered which is where you get a lot of the computational power
68:59 um but they're opaque so they don't have to deal with
69:04 the environment around you opaque okay so opaque and transparent is like if you
69:10 have an Oculus
69:13 Rift there's something blocking your vision so you can't see
69:19 outwards with a hollow lens it's
69:22 transparent so that you can see through it you can still see the walls and
69:26 people that are in the room uh opaque is non-transparent I just realized people
69:31 might not know what opaque means so opaque means you can't see through it so
69:34 when you're wearing a rift or a Vive you purposefully cannot see the things that
69:39 are in the room with you uh when you're wearing a Microsoft Hollow lens you can
69:44 purposefully see the things that are in the room with you
69:49 um Halo lens is AR not
69:52 VR uh
69:55 you meant it's
70:03 okay there's augmented virtual reality
70:09 AVR and then there's
70:14 virtual because ah you can the definitions of all these things get very
70:18 mixed up but this is just the graph of headsets not those things specifically
70:24 don't worry about a VR any of that kind stuff this is just headsets um so with
70:30 Sony coming in here and doing this the main benefit that you get from opaque
70:35 tethered headsets is the performance side of things and the Playstation 4
70:40 doesn't have a ton of
70:46 performance
70:51 so I don't know
71:00 AVR AR is still VR but if it's AR and VR
71:04 it's still AR yeah I know but there's other just don't worry about it like I
71:10 said I was just talking about headsets in general calm your tits and sit down
71:14 um man I have to remember that I'm not allowed to say swear words and stuff
71:20 because it's the wo still Luke looks so bored I kind of am I
71:24 don't have any more topics to do the the dock is literally done but I haven't
71:29 been streaming for that long so I don't know what I'm going to talk about
71:32 anymore I guess okay I'll talk about this I went down to Microsoft um in
71:39 Redmond they're about 3 hours below us
71:42 on the map so Brown and I drove there last week to check them out uh we
71:47 thought that we were going down there to check out a hollow lens demo and I was
71:51 expecting they they they told us that we weren't going to be able to allow we
71:54 weren't going to be be allowed to uh film like at all which was going to suck
72:00 but I was going to try to do like a hollow lens Impressions video where I
72:06 just use their b-roll and don't get to
72:09 actually show you guys any of me
72:13 actually trying it and I was like this is going to be kind of weird but I
72:16 really want to try Hollow lens so whatever the hollow lens demo we ended
72:21 up getting was only like two minutes long anyways I talked about that a little bit on a previous show
72:26 but some things that we did get to see was their Advanced prototyping and
72:31 Hardware engineering Labs exclusive tour
72:34 super cool went to go see that with judner from your average consumer and
72:38 Austin Evans from Austin Evans um so
72:42 that was awesome it was cool hanging out with those guys and it was cool checking
72:45 that place out and there's a video coming about that whole deal soon it's
72:51 pretty sweet um I it could have been
72:54 better if I knew I was was going to even be able to do that but they didn't tell us that that was happening before we
72:58 went down so I wasn't ready for like a factory tour kind of
73:04 deal so yeah could have been better but
73:07 I hope that video will be pretty cool also we checked out the garage um which
73:12 I will garage.
73:17 microsoft.com which is this
73:21 thing so like they have maker spaces on
73:24 campus where employees are encouraged to like
73:28 do cool stuff so you can go like all
73:31 right let's look at mobile only so there's two completed garage
73:36 apps it's called spritle and
73:41 kaizala I don't know what those are create Catal create cataloges eCards and
73:46 more for your business and personal needs okay I don't know but there's here
73:51 let's look at what's currently being worked on so there's a huge amount of
73:54 projects in here right now I know okay I've seen this one before trip tracker
73:58 So This One automatically maps all of your trips
74:02 that you've done it it knows if you're driving running biking all that kind of
74:07 stuff blah blah blah blah blah so if you went for a bike ride but like forgot to
74:12 be like hey I'm going for a bike ride phone it can still track all of that for
74:18 you um and luckily it's not super crazy
74:22 insanely creepy uh um because you can
74:26 turn it off which is fun being able to
74:30 turn it off is great could you do a Q&A I can always do a Q&A just ask a
74:34 question tag myself in chat because I'm not logged in as lanis in this thing so
74:40 if you do like an app tag for me in chat then it'll show up as like red or
74:45 whatever and then oh God now everyone knows that um but yeah you can just do
74:50 that and then I'll see your question in chat and it'll be it'll be easy to do no
74:54 big deal um but yeah they have tons of these my
74:59 mustache. net you can rate how your
75:03 mustache goes up against other people's mustaches oh it automatically rates your
75:07 mustache holy crap that's
75:11 fantastic look at this guy he got Auto stashed that made it even better oh
75:23 God so many people talking about different
75:30 things Windows 10 Redstone 2 launch
75:36 date wccf article you know it's going to be
75:41 good who knows if it's going to be true or
75:44 not Redstone 2 Windows 10 version 1703 I
75:49 have no idea what this is talking about Windows 10 Redstone 2 is referred
75:54 internally is version
75:57 1703 okay uh it's considered the biggest
76:03 feature upgrade to come to Windows 10 since it's launched since it's
76:08 launched when is it coming spring of
76:14 2017 okay holy crap I'm bored come on
76:18 boys we need better news topics than that come on
76:22 now forever ago in LT there was a new
76:25 video of a new set what is that what is
76:29 what are you what uh when are you going to upgrade
76:33 your new CPU still running a 2600k right I am still running a
76:37 2600k uh my upgrade to CPU will be
76:41 happening fairly soon all the parts for a new personal rig are here um but I
76:46 didn't think they're going to be here until the end of November so the mod that I want to do to the case is still
76:51 going to take a little while um
76:57 so yeah I don't know if I want to just show building the computer uh in a very
77:04 normal way by just kind of plugging things in that are really expensive and
77:08 then being like hey personal rig update
77:11 uh I think people will be like yo that's pretty boring uh so I kind of want to do
77:15 the mod as well and the mod is going to be rather difficult and sourcing the
77:20 stuff for it is going to be rather difficult um so
77:26 yeah it's going to take a little bit but it should be before the end of November
77:31 that you guys okay that my personal rig update is
77:35 done I don't know when you guys are going to see it because of editing queue
77:39 and vessel queue and waiting for all the other things to get out of the way q and
77:45 then YouTube and blah blah blah blah blah but the vide should be done before
77:50 the end of November anyways guys I think that's
77:53 going to be it for the W
77:57 show um honestly I am exhausted from all
78:01 the different various ways that I am sick and there's no more topics left and
78:05 there hasn't been for the last 20 freaking minutes so I am going to end
78:09 the stream um also I need to fight through figuring out how to even upload
78:13 this thing because usually I don't do that usually lonus does that um I even
78:17 screwed up a bit of the pre-show by not putting a YouTube video up that the show
78:21 was live which is probably why there isn't very many viewers right now
78:25 anyways uh I hope you guys enjoyed
78:31 this speaking of not feeling great uh
78:35 yeah I will be someone just asked if I'm
78:38 streaming yes I will be doing my stream I don't know if I'm going to run out of
78:42 power or not so I don't know how that's going to go but I will be doing my
78:46 stream not immediately cuz I need to take some drugs that I have for my
78:51 pneumonia stuff and I need to get this all uploaded to make sure that I do it
78:55 properly because the archive is important so yes see you guys later
79:01 Afterparty will be happening and it will be like an actual Afterparty this time
79:05 because I just hosted the show and stuff so we can talk about tech things if you
79:08 want that's cool twitch.tv lukor LFR
79:13 I'll see you there intro intro
79:51 I hope I did everything right
79:55 uh see you
