0:00 welcome to the Intel Booth where they've got the extreme rig challenge
0:04 competitors showing off their extreme rigs this must be the first video I'm
0:08 doing at the show cuz I clearly haven't lost my voice yet we're going to
0:12 highlight the top three for you guys starting with this little beauty from
0:15 origin PC behind me so in terms of
0:18 hardware specs it's got a core i7 6950x
0:22 I mean big surprise we're in the Intel Booth what else were they going to put in there it's got a rampage 5 10 Edition
0:27 10th anniversary Rog board it's got 32
0:31 gigs of RAM dual 1080s I mean I guess they could have had more RAM and they
0:34 could have had Titan X's but the budget for the cool paint job had to come from
0:38 somewhere I guess and other than that well we can't see a whole lot through
0:42 the window on this side but
0:49 wait what about the window on this side what the hell is that they put another
0:53 computer in there so they've got a 6700k they've got a Maximus whatever I
0:59 think it's eight whatever generation we're on Jean they've got another 16
1:03 gigs of RAM and they've got a couple of Elgato hd60 Pro capture cards as well as
1:09 an Intel 750 series SSD yes my friends this in the same size
1:16 as a regular tower case has two computers and they made some really cool
1:21 modifications to make this happen so for
1:24 one thing they had to completely change up the back panel of the case second in
1:28 order to run two separate water cooling systems each with their own Radiator in
1:32 the basement they had to actually modify a bay Reservoir to have a partition down
1:37 the middle so that they could run them completely separately they had to build
1:41 this entire system in a lowprofile manner and they had to do it beautifully
1:45 because this is the extreme rig challenge so those hd60 Pros are
1:49 actually using PCI Express risers that they're hiding with this origin PC logo
1:54 that's custom done in acrylic and the same goes for this Intel 750 series SSD
1:59 now in terms of the rest of the storage this is pretty cool they've actually got
2:03 two separate hot swap Bays one for the
2:07 gaming system one for the capture system so the idea behind the system is if
2:12 you're a professional streamer you have all the gaming PC and all the capture PC
2:17 you could possibly need in a single Tower oh and it has RGB
2:22 lighting all right next up we've got a system from cyber power here that's
2:27 targeting the uh people who think their PC needs like hydraulic you know bouncy
2:34 suspension am I right yeah man yeah so
2:38 this is the Cyber power PC Lux series it
2:41 features an Intel Core i 769 50x extreme
2:45 Edition surprise surprise 64 gigs of RAM
2:48 dual GTX 1080s in SLI gigabytes new
2:52 design air series x99 motherboard and of
2:57 course the inwin h tower case the only
3:01 case on the planet and maybe it's for
3:05 good reason that can do
3:08 this it closes it opens it slices it
3:15 dices and you guys might be sitting there wondering well what did they
3:18 actually do cuz that's just an off-the-shelf case well they added LED
3:23 lighting effects and they water cooled
3:26 it and even cooler than that and even
3:30 quite frankly this is not a nice thing to say but quite frankly it's kind of
3:34 shoddily done they've got freaking light
3:38 tape in here I have never seen that in a PC mod and I really like the direction
3:43 they're going with it now the cuts were pretty much done by hand with like
3:48 pencil marks to line them up as far as I can tell but with a CNC they figure they
3:53 could do it pretty cleanly and it's got this really neat subtle glow effect like
3:59 you might see in like an exit strip on an airplane or
4:03 a theater you actually can't tell from the lighting in the booth until I turn
4:08 it off that it's illuminated pretty
4:11 freaking cool right they've also got a custom vinyl wrap around it as well as
4:16 you know and I was kind of giving them a hard time about not doing anything it's a really tasteful Hardline water cooling
4:21 job that they've done in here so uh check them out remember these are all
4:25 entries in the extreme ring challenge or at least these two were the next one's
4:28 not our last system actually isn't part
4:32 of the extreme rig challenge but this thing is so freaking cool I can't look
4:35 away from it it's got a I don't know probably a 6950x it looks like probably
4:41 64 gigs of some kind of memory it's got
4:44 an ASUS tough series white motherboard some cool water cooling I by power built
4:48 it apparently or we're not sure because the sticker keeps coming off so I'm not
4:52 going to stress out too much about that it's an NZXT Phantom case it's got some
4:55 ASUS graphics card in it with a mirror on the back so it looks really cool and
4:59 and uh finally there's an Intel SSD in the bottom but no no no no no no this is
5:05 so cool this is the coolest side panel window I've ever seen let me look at
5:08 that like inklot effect I was like how did they do this when I first came over
5:13 and I saw this and I saw this like I thought it was like a tube of like black
5:16 ink and there was like water in there or some no it turns out this is
5:20 actually a transparent display that costs about $1,000 from some company in
5:26 China no one could actually tell me where it was where it was actually from
5:30 and it runs as a third monitor on this
5:34 computer so this is actually a video that's playing I don't know the specs of
5:37 it because I can't look up the some company from China website thank you
5:41 everyone for helping me out here but it looks to be about a 1280 by 1024 kind of
5:48 resolution like it looks pretty darn good as long as you don't get too close
5:52 to it and just to and and this this blew
5:55 my mind it is not black and white which I tested by putting this tasteful color
6:00 picture on it see look look at this look
6:04 at that guy I mean if you could have a side panel that you could put that
6:09 picture on wouldn't you I sure would so
6:12 thanks for checking out our top three rigs here at the Intel booth at PS West
