so today I have the lk1 gaming keyboard from raptor gaming they sent this over
0:11
for us to do a quick unboxing and overview of so oh look at that English
0:17
isn't the first language on the packaging so it must be intended for uh
0:22
looks like the German Market first okay
0:25
so the brand new Raptor gaming lk1 offers you highend technology performance and features that nonb price
0:30
so yes this is a value gaming keyboard uh exchangeable red signal buttons and a
0:34
water resistant surface are the highlights of this feature packed beast
0:38
and fast true highlight is the fast mover technology it locks removed Keys
0:43
automatically that secures that you never press the wrong button even under
0:48
the biggest pressure of your opponents okay Compact and slim gaming keyboard
0:52
water resistant structure low noise typing and precise button pressure point
0:55
anti- ghost technology anti- ghost is good because uh what that means is that
1:00
sometimes when you press certain combinations of keys uh it can register
1:04
like additional like ghost keys at the
1:07
same time so it's uh definitely good that that doesn't happen because that's
1:11
very obnoxious so what do we have here
1:14
looks like we've got eight keys that go in place of the red WD and the red arrow
1:20
keys and that is exactly what we have
1:23
and we also get a key remover tool these are really handy to have just sort of in
1:29
general um because if you ever have to clean your keyboard it's really nice to
1:32
be able to remove the keys in a way that doesn't risk damaging them so let's go
1:37
ahead it's fairly light very lightweight
1:44
keyboard and we don't have much in the way of sort of different features here
1:50
so let's just have a look at the overall layout uh one thing that I would prefer
1:54
to see um if they do sort of a second
1:57
generation of this particular product is a full length shift key as well as an
2:01
Enter key that comes over here it looks like what they've done is they've
2:05
actually put in two backspace Keys one
2:08
here and one here or back backspace back slash Keys one here and one here the
2:13
backspace key is positioned in its sort of I would consider correct location
2:17
that is a full length one um and but my
2:20
my sort of reservations about that are mostly to do with typing and less to do
2:24
with gaming um I guess it's sort of less offensive when you have additional
2:29
buttons available here for gaming for your WD although this one I would have
2:32
definitely preferred to see as a full-sized enter so the keys are
2:37
definitely very quiet like here I'll put it next to my steel series 7g for
2:41
comparison so I'm just going to kind of mash a key here and mash a key
2:48
here so it's definitely quiet um in
2:52
terms of overall layout what do we got so we got our little flippy things here
2:56
we've got 1 2 3 4 five rubber grippy
3:00
feet on the bottom designed in Germany made in China I guess that's why it's
3:03
intended for the German market and German or Deutch is the first language
3:08
on there uh you know what why don't we show you guys how to replace the keys on
3:12
your new gaming keyboard so you just go like
3:16
that you find the correct key in the pile and then you just push it on so
3:22
these are really easy just go like that let's find the S if we can find it which
3:28
I'm having trouble with it's always the last one you turn over right and you
3:31
just put that in position and put it down like that it uses goldplated USB
3:37
and it does have a very flexible braided cord which is kind of nice because uh
3:41
stiff cords can be a bit of a bear to Route so you can see how how flexible it
3:47
is okay and I think that pretty much
3:50
covers everything there is to say about the uh Raptor gaming keyboard that we
3:56
have here so thank you for checking out my unboxing of the L one and don't
