thank you to Squarespace for sending us the CES 2017 this giant tilted cube of Dreams
0:05
cost $599 and you're going to like it or
0:09
not but either way I will tell you about it okay so first things first why is it
0:13
tilted well there's three zones there's the main computer compartment which
0:17
takes up these two squares then there's the power supply which is the bottom
0:21
Square then there's the storage which is the top square and they're each their
0:24
own cooling zones this also makes it so that the first Zone with the whole
0:28
system in it is able to breathe in through the bottom breathe in through
0:31
the front and exhaust out of the top the
0:34
bottom of the case is just a filtered passive intake the front of the case has
0:38
a 1x1 120 mm area and the top of the
0:41
case can fit up to a 3x1 120 mm Rad or
0:45
individual fans if you would like the current configuration is the water
0:48
cooler for a fury x a blank spot which is covered by a panel and then another
0:53
spot which is taken up by the 1x1 120 mm radiator for the CPU you may also notice
0:59
while looking in here that a motherboard looks a little funky that's because it
1:02
is a omen motherboard and that is a omen cooler there's a bunch of omen stuff
1:06
going on in here you can buy this case
1:09
as a system with everything in it from HP or you can buy this case as a system
1:14
with everything in it from main gear if you want one that's even more tooled up
1:17
with maybe custom water cooling or whatever else going on this section gets
1:21
covered by one large Sleek panel but if you want there will be an option with a
1:26
window in the future but we don't have one of those here this is a prototype at
1:29
the front
2:30
the cage or on the bottom of the cage the unit that I have here doesn't have
2:33
U2 in it yet just cuz again it's a prototype so I can't actually show you
2:36
that but they promis Me U2 will be installed on all of these on release as
2:40
I mentioned earlier they're working with SI a lot or system integrators so they
2:44
have a feature for them as well inside
2:47
the system there's this little bracket thing that actually squishes the
2:50
graphics card in it's not supporting it from the bottom it's not supporting it from the top it's actually holding it in
2:55
towards the motherboard and that will hopefully make it so that if you ship
2:58
one of these with a graphics card installed it's not going to snap or
3:01
break off the motherboard IO is interesting it's basically just a whole
3:07
bunch of USB 3.1 gen 1 ports one
3:10
Ethernet port one line out an HDMI port
3:13
which is covered because you should probably be using your graphics card and an optical jack that's sort of it again
3:19
this is a HP custom motherboard not another Brands and that is it for the
3:25
$599 cube of Doom that they call the omen
3:28
PC what do you guys think is it worth your money let me know in the comments
3:32
