0:04
you to linda.com all right guys welcome to the MSI Booth where we will be
0:08
checking out the gt72 2qe Dominator Pro
0:12
in either the Toby iix version or the g-sync version now the basis for this
0:17
laptop already exists out in the market you can already buy it uh it has an
0:20
fifth generation Broadwell 5700 HQ processor a 980m from NVIDIA for the
0:26
graphics it has four m.2 slots one 2 and
0:30
1/ in slot with a 1 tab hard drive in it you can raid zero those 4 m.2 slots it
0:35
has a 1080p screen all that good stuff what's new about these two models is
0:40
that in the g-sync model fairly self-explanatory it comes with g-sync
0:44
and in the Toby model you have Toby it tracking for Io we'll start with the
0:48
back on the back you have your dual exhaust one on each side you also have a
0:51
Kensington lock two mini display ports HDMI Ethernet and Power on the left hand
0:56
side you have two USB 3.1 Jacks two USB
1:00
3.0 Jacks Four 3 and 1/2 in audio jacks and an SD card reader on the right hand
1:05
side you have a Blu-ray Drive and dual USB 3.0 ports what's new in both of
1:10
these units is the nahimic audio processing software and killer
1:14
networking 1535 Wireless AC the g-sync
1:18
version has a g-sync module inside of it which can help you remove tearing and
1:21
stuttering from your gameplay this is something we've seen on the desktop side for a very long time but not something
1:26
we've seen in laptops until computex 2015 the Toby iix version does not have
1:32
g-sync technology but has the Toby steel
1:35
series ey tracking technology in it you can actually see right on the bottom of
1:39
the bezel those three little red lights that's your Toby ey tracking now I've
1:43
released a video of Toby ey tracking from CES I think a year or two ago when
1:47
it was still under development it's much easier to use now the calibration system
1:51
is much more simple and they have a few cool things like Windows login where
1:55
there's a huge array of pictures and you just have to look at your three password
1:59
pictures and then it lets you in that's pretty cool also we were able to play
2:02
Assassin's Creed and some little like beat bouncing look at the right circle
2:06
thing game which was kind of fun it's much more seamless now the calibration
2:10
is easier and it's just a better overall experience but ey tracking still has a
2:14
little ways to go and speaking of little ways to go the g-sync version of this
2:18
laptop will be available very soon and the Toby version of this laptop will be
2:23
available not this year but probably early sometime next year all right guys
