so today I'll be unboxing and having a quick look at a Corsair power supply
0:04
it's not particularly new or particularly exciting from like a from a
0:09
feature standpoint but what it is is it's a rock solid power supply at a good
0:14
price I mean okay so yeah like I said it's not glamorous but that's what
0:19
Corsair is known for they're known for delivering solid power supplies that you
0:23
know aren't particularly flashy looking or you know have a bunch of you know
0:32
stuff they made up on the front Okay it's a good power supply at a good price
0:35
and I've totally run out of things to say already look at that okay so here's
0:39
the connectors you got a 24 pin connector you've got an 8 Pin EPS
0:42
connector four PCI Express 6 plus2 pin connectors eight SATA eight Molex and
0:48
two floppy just the right mix for a 750 W power supply considering what you'd be
0:52
plugging into it then on the other side of the Box you've got the general specs
0:56
so this is a single 12vt rail power
1:00
supply so that's a 60 amp 12vt rail a lot of people like to see that and it's
1:04
a No Nonsense sort of approach in terms of noise level you can see that the decb
1:09
are rated on a curve you can check out these graphs on Corsair.com as well
1:12
here's your efficiency graph so this
1:15
is not 80 plus certified as far as the
1:18
box is concerned I had thought it was it has a 5-year warranty from Corsair and
1:23
let's get to what's inside the box so first you got your user's manual okay so
1:27
that includes some general information about the unit itself
1:30
and then you've got your packing foam okay it comes in a nice little velvety
1:35
bag that's kind of a nice touch okay we'll get to the power supply unit
1:39
itself in just a moment here though you've got just a standard three-prong
1:43
power connector you've got some cable ties for organizing your cables because
1:47
this is a non-m modular unit then you have a powered by Corsair sticker and
1:51
four black screws to attach the power supply to your case now let's get this
1:55
velvet bag open and then inside there
1:58
you'll find a plastic bag and inside the
2:01
plastic bag you will find the TX 750 W
2:06
power supply so it has A35 mm cooling
2:09
fan and you can kind of see the guts of the unit itself in there on each side it
2:13
has TX 750 watt and kind of a orangey
2:17
orangey colored logo then on the top you're going to find your general specs
2:21
again which are also on the side of the box and at the back you see just your
2:25
onoff switch power plug and then a honeycomb Grill now the connectors
2:30
themselves one thing that Corsair does again it's part of their you know sort
2:33
of non-nonsense approach is they've always got reasonably long cables
2:37
attached to their power supplies so every one of these cables is going to be
2:42
nice and long so that means you could potentially use it in an 800d case which
2:46
I'm sitting next to a a skid of okay so
2:49
the connectors as I outlined before we
2:54
have where all my PCI Express we've got
2:57
4 six plus two pin PCI Express we've got got an 8 Pin EPS bunch of Molex bunch of
3:02
SATA and the cameraman's telling me we're running out of time thank you for
