0:12
pretty straightforward right here we've got ourselves some phobia cable adapters
0:17
and whatnot and what I'm actually going to do is I'm just going to show you what
0:21
they look like in the packaging because it's really not that interesting or
0:25
exceptional and then what I'll be doing after that is I will be showing you what
0:29
they all look like outside so I have some special sort of situations going on
0:34
here where I needed some cables that were a little bit sort of custom made
0:39
and uh I needed them for very specific purposes here like I've got eight ssds
0:44
that are very very close quarters here so I needed some cables that would work
0:48
a little bit better than the ones that come with the power supply which
0:52
typically look a little something like this and are designed for longer runs in
0:57
between individual drives where I don't have a lot of extra space back here for
1:01
random cables so I've got those then I've also got some three pin Splitters
1:05
and extenders that I'm going to be using to plug fans and led strips into my T
1:11
balancer here so let's get those packages opened and we'll be back in a moment so rather than
1:16
emphasize um the unboxing portion of this I just want to show you guys pretty
1:20
much what the finished product looks like so these are the SATA ones and
1:24
overall they look pretty good I'd say there's a little bit of inconsistency in
1:28
terms of hopefully this is even going to be able to FOC Focus but in terms of
1:31
where the uh see where the sleeving actually goes up to in relation to the
1:35
wire and one of them actually came without the heat shrink shrunk so those
1:40
are still moveable so that was sort of
1:43
interesting um hold on let me just ah
1:46
look at that I have my manual focus on so that might be part of the issue here
1:50
right now there we go now you guys can see what I'm talking about however the
1:55
cables are extremely Supple and easy to
1:58
to bend so this be a bit of a look at the horrible horrible Cable Management
2:04
here on the back of my uh my personal rig not a whole lot I can do about it at
2:08
this point without remaking a whole bunch of custom cables which I'm not
2:12
going to do but I've got the quad SATA ones here so plugged from drive to drive
2:19
to drive to drive and then out to a
2:22
Molex connector so that's how I'm able to power all those drives there without
2:28
um well without running a whole bunch of
2:32
separate SATA cables so there you go uh custom cable oh yeah I should probably
2:36
show the uh where did one of those where
2:39
one of those fan Splitters go we'll be back in a moment ah yes here's one of
2:44
those in action so there it is so it's just two three pins up to a single three
2:49
pin which is going into the tea balancer so thanks for checking out this unboxing and first look and as always don't
