0:00 thank you to dbrand for making CES 2017 possible for us this year check them out
0:03 in the link below so you guys have probably heard of fer thermal imaging
0:08 not only have we done videos on them but they've been in like the news they do
0:11 stuff for military and police applications they make consumer products
0:15 they do a ton of stuff they're basically the name in thermal imaging as far as I
0:19 know but you probably haven't seen this this is the Fleer Duo it's basically a
0:24 Fleer camera in like GoPro form so you can attach it to a drone it's camera is
0:29 capable of taking P multi-spectral Imaging which is how you get clear Crisp
0:33 Images where you can actually see the details of things like say a dog's face
0:37 but still get the thermal information on top the unit itself has a Bluetooth
0:40 button on the left hand side that allows you to control it through a phone or a
0:44 laptop or something like that a record button on top and then on the right hand
0:48 side there's a USB port which needs to be used for power as there's no battery
0:53 on board which makes sense cuz I had to fit two cameras into this thing then
0:56 behind that there's an micro SD card slot for video storage or picture
1:00 storage and above that there's an HDMI port which means that you can push out
1:05 to something like a screen which is actually pretty cool if you didn't want
1:08 to attach this to a drone and wanted to set it up as maybe a surveillance camera
1:11 or something like that what's also cool is that it's available now but I can't
1:15 actually show you the results of this thing working because they don't have
1:18 the right cable or something which is rather unfortunate what I can show you
1:23 is the Fleer one pro which is this guy
1:26 but it's named the same as the previous one this is the third
1:32 generation what isn't uh about it is its specs and its capability it's a 2
1:37 megapixel camera which is doesn't sound that great but when you're in thermal
1:40 imaging is actually rather good it's a USB type-c port on the top which can
1:44 actually be raised or lowered through a radio dial which is actually pretty cool
1:48 they had a lot of requests for this because of people on construction sites or just people in general who had thick
1:53 bodied cases on their phones now they can raise the USB port up and get it to
1:57 fit up in there without actually taking their case off which is nice you can
2:01 control up to three temp points at once you can click at three different places
2:04 on the screen it can measure the temperature at those places or you can drag and move them around and measure
2:08 whatever you want and it comes with Vivid IR which is a new technology that
2:12 they're using which should give you a cleaner crisper easier to make sense of
2:16 image it's also a well uh drop rated for 1.8 m which is
2:24 good but it does cost a little bit it's $399 that being said though it's the pro
2:28 version you can also get the consumer version if you want which cost
2:32 $199 doesn't have quite as many features like not actually going to drop it it's
2:37 not drop rated for like anything it has one temp point on the screen not three
2:42 it doesn't have vivid IR so the images aren't quite clean and crisp and you
2:45 don't have access to the Fleer tools app so you can't do anything Advanced beyond
2:49 that if neither of those float your boat we have a different device this
2:52 all-in-one contained unit called the Fleer C3 it has an extremely rugged
2:57 package and is designed for construction sites it even has a hook so you can put
3:01 on your keys or a lanyard or something like that but there is a trade-off the
3:04 sensor isn't quite as nice and the thermal range isn't as wide either but
3:09 they did tell me when I asked about that that if you see a temperature that's
3:12 over 150° on a construction site you might have other problems it can store
3:17 2,000 photos but unfortunately can't take videos although oddly enough it has
3:23 Wi-Fi and you can stream with it so that's what's new from Fleer I wish I
3:27 could show you actual footage from the Fleer Duo but we'll probably get one of
3:30 those in office at some point I love Fleer stuff I'm happy that they're
3:34 coming out with new generation things I do appreciate that every single time
3:37 that they come out with a new Fleer one their consumer end one becomes cheaper I
3:42 think that's pretty cool if you've ever thought about getting into thermal imaging check out Fleer it's actually
3:46 solid stuff and if you want to check out something else cool before you leave
3:49 check out debran I've got them on all my stuff I think I showed off the back of
3:53 my phone for like almost every single debrand integration so far but whatever
3:57 man we also use them on our laptops which I've also called out in every
4:01 single debrand integration so far so you're probably used to it by now but
4:05 whatever if you're tired of seeing my skins check out the configurator down below and make your own I'll see you
4:10 guys next time go to the debrand lake down below bye
