0:00 so today I have a pretty unique product to unbox this is well three different
0:04 products but they're all NZXT cables and
0:08 I'm going to just start tearing the packaging open because that's what I do
0:13 ah ah there we go okay so now I'll
0:17 explain what they are these are sleeved extension cables so basically what this
0:23 allows you to do I don't know if you've heard of Murder mod but there's there's
0:26 a guy who's actually from Vancouver and he started this this whole Murder mod
0:30 thing where people started sleeving their cables
0:33 individually into the connector rather than doing the whole bunch as one big
0:38 sleeve and then exposing the colored bits at the ends now his reasoning for
0:42 doing that was that actually you don't see most of the cable so most of that
0:47 sleeved part you're going to hide behind something and then the only part that
0:51 actually goes onto your motherboard or I guess I should be holding it this way is
0:54 the part that's going to be colored so there there's no point in sleeving it the other way so that's why he started
0:58 sleeving every cable individually so NZXT knowing that it's actually a lot of
1:05 work to sleeve a cable like that like it's it it could take you hours to do
1:09 your power supply hours and hours so they've released these extension cables
1:13 that will allow you to basically take your 24 pin connector for example hide
1:17 it away somewhere and then run an extension cable over to it and then
1:22 actually plug the attractive individually sleeved cable into your
1:25 motherboard now NZXT is also using a very high quality sleeving so you you
1:30 can see that you cannot see any of the colors of the individual wires through
1:34 the sleeving which is very nice oh actually no it looks like they're cheating a little bit but that's okay
1:39 they're using black wires for every wire and then a black sleeving over it so it
1:43 looks like a very very nice Finishing Touch overall once you come out from you
1:48 know for example you're well on a motherboard that isn't old and doesn't
1:52 suck you're coming out from behind the board plugging into the ideal 24 pin
1:56 location and it'll look kind of something like that okay so they've got
2:00 a variety of other cables available as well I've got a couple of them here today this one is a Molex TOA cable so
2:06 suppose You' got a modular power supply now you don't even have to plug in a
2:10 single SATA connector to your power supply you just plug in a Molex and then
2:14 run this adapter over to four SATA cables so if you've got four hard drives
2:19 mounted one on top of the other you've got this attractive four SATA mounting
2:25 cable sleeved thing that you can plug into it now and it looks so much more
2:30 sharp than having those colored orange and yellow and red and black wires all
2:34 over your case now last but not least I'm going to show you the uh I mean it's
2:38 going to be basically I'm showing you the same thing again but this is an 8
2:41 Pin extension cable so you do the same thing that you did with your 24 pin but
2:46 with your four or eight pin motherboard connect connector so you hide it back
2:50 somewhere you run it around to the top and now you've got a nice attractive individually sleeved wire thing going on
2:55 so these will be available at NC soon thank you for checking out my unboxing
2:59 of the NZXT individually sleeved
