0:07 welcome to my re unboxing of the visioner mobility cordless color scanner
0:12 yes this is a bit of a Deja Vu moment for you guys but I did make some um some
0:18 mistakes in my previous unboxing of and first look at this unit so bear with me
0:22 here while I go through it again so experience the freedom of true Mobility
0:26 scan without a computer cables or software you can do all of those things
0:29 so you can scan documents photos business cards ID cards and receipts we're going to be scanning this photo
0:35 okay what else we got here scan to a smartphone SD card or USB flash drive
0:39 with no computer required to scan it includes a 2 gig SD card although the
0:43 packaging says 1 gig SD card uh we've got 300 DPI Simplex scanning and color
0:48 of great scale Simplex means that is single sided not dual sided okay
0:53 rechargeable battery so you can scan up to uh 300 scans per charge so this box
1:00 has 150 scans per charge but this was a pre-release box and it is actually 300
1:06 scans per charge and you can charge
1:11 it over USB or by plugging into this
1:16 guy and here we
1:23 go there's your power and plugging this
1:27 into the unit so you can either plug these two into a computer or you can
1:31 plug it into the wall and it comes with a couple multinational adapters so it
1:36 comes with this guy and it also comes with this guy Euro
1:40 guy okay what else we got here so let's
1:44 got let's get the sorry about that guys battery you know how it is so I'm going
1:48 to go ahead and take the scanner out of the box here we've already got the charger we'll put that aside and then
1:53 we've got the accessory package here which because this unit has been unboxed
1:58 once before by some dastardly fellow it
2:01 was me um the micro SD card that's
2:05 included with the adapter is already installed ins set adapter so let's just
2:10 go ahead and here we go there you
2:15 go so let's go ahead and plug that in so
2:19 here you go these are your options so you can uh scan to a USB drive and then
2:24 this USB port is the one that's for charging or for pulling data off the off
2:29 of the scanner um and then or yeah off of the for
2:33 scanning directly to an actual computer this is a cleaning swab so you can use
2:37 that to keep the lamp clean okay um not
2:41 sure which side you actually access it from so I'm not going to sort of overdo
2:45 that they've actually got some indicators here in terms of the different sizes of things so no Staples
2:50 paper goes in this way here is for A6
2:55 photos A4 and cards okay you can
2:59 actually scan plastic cards in it as well which is something I don't think I
3:02 mentioned uh last time around so here is what we're going to do I'm just going to
3:08 really the the functionality of this device that I see is primarily for
3:12 business un users I mean how often do
3:16 you you know someone like a contractor
3:20 for example I could see using something like this on the all the time you're on
3:23 a job site you need to oh yeah here's a calibrator
3:27 sheet so you just use that to get a baseline reading um so you're a
3:33 contractor or something there's some document that you want
3:36 to scan and like sign so that someone
3:40 can have a look at it and uh if you had
3:44 one of these on you then you'd be able to do it sorry I wasn't really going anywhere with that I guess let's do our
3:48 photo first so it feeds in this way I'm lining that up with the photo
3:54 line let's give it a
3:58 second
4:02 i' have to feed it a little bit sort of
4:16 more well I failed hold on a
4:20 minute you know it's funny because I've done this once already and I still can't
4:23 remember how to do it now I turned it
4:28 off
4:34 H oh there we go aha we're
4:41 good you know what we should also try a plastic card here as well so let me just
4:46 see if there's anything in my card that doesn't you know reveal all the
4:50 information in the world about me ah
4:53 here we go I can scan my uh my NC
4:58 Advantage Club membership um as soon as I take off the
5:04 name of the person to whom this card used to belong there we go okay so let's
5:09 go ahead and let's throw a card in here now okay the flashing lights I guess
5:13 means it's processing something so let's go ahead or maybe that means it's ready
5:18 I don't know nope not ready
5:28 yet
5:33 there we go okay yeah now it's ready so the solid light means it's ready we go
5:37 ahead and run that through so let's go
5:40 check out our results shall we guys okay
5:43 guys so I've got an SD card reader on the side of this monitor so we're going
5:46 to go ahead and open it up DCI image 3
5:51 is our photo that we scanned so there you
5:55 go and then image 4 is my ncx Advantage
6:01 membership card oh a couple other things that I haven't mentioned yet is this
6:04 button right here is for removing jams in the event of a jam so what it does is
6:08 it lifts up the rollers so that you can pull a piece of paper out of it without
6:12 risking damaging it and uh yes I
6:15 confirmed that once these lights stop flashing that means the unit is ready to
6:20 scan so that was the difficulty I was having feeding documents through the
6:24 scanner so thank you for checking out my re unboxing and reir look I a second
6:29 look at this point of the visioner mobility scanner don't forget to
