so I've often been asked why I don't Benchmark Source
0:04
games and uh like tf2 they're very
0:07
popular all that good stuff uh the reason for it as you may or may not be
0:12
able to tell based on the FPS counter
0:15
over on the top right is that they're simply not very demanding so the GTX 590
0:20
I've got running now while obviously a very good video card if we're talking
0:24
about on the order of 250 to up to 850
0:30
almost 900 frames per second in a given game um even something that performs
0:35
only one quarter as well is going to be well beyond the capabilities of any
0:39
modern LCD monitor to display past that
0:43
FPS anyway so we're talking about a scenario that just doesn't really matter
0:47
I guess is the point I'm trying to make so um there you have it I guess for the
0:53
sake of argument here is my benchmarking
0:56
of Team Fortress 2 on the GTX 590 dual
1:01
uh graphics card dual GPU graphics card
1:04
from NVIDIA and as you can see that at
1:08
1080p with everything maxed out to
1:12
pretty much as maxed as it gets uh it
1:16
performs very very well runs very very smoothly and there are no no issues
1:22
whatsoever running this game at those kinds of settings and now for whatever
1:25
reason I'm ubered so guess I better try and like kill something uh
1:30
