0:12 okay as you may or may not have noticed this is a silent video today with a
0:16 voice over we're uh we're unboxing the NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision 3D glasses and
0:22 uh here's me struggling with the knife to open it uh actually we experienced
0:26 some technical difficulties today because our uh our microphone normally I
0:32 have like that that mic I wear on my shirt but uh we had the receiver for it
0:36 on the camera but we I wasn't actually wearing it so the camera microphone
0:41 turns off when I when I don't have that so here's me struggling to open the box
0:45 um we're about to demonstrate I think that I'm actually standing in a swamp
0:49 land of sorts outside of our office uh we didn't have the lights today so we we
0:54 thought we'd just uh film it outside with the natural light uh very natural
0:59 experience over all so uh there's the carrying pouch for the glasses and then
1:05 next you'll find the quick start guide this is actually a whole package uh
1:08 we'll show we'll show the contents of the package after and this is the cameraman oh oh
1:16 he's demon right because my voice was going to be blocked out by the plane
1:20 flying overhead but then the plane well we didn't have any sound so okay the
1:27 glasses themselves and a handy cool little uh opening box so there's the uh
1:31 the infrared wow what is that that's the
1:34 transmitter the infrared transmitter that hooks up to your computer I'm I'm
1:39 figuring out really I have no idea what I'm doing here like I've never seen any
1:42 of this stuff before when I'm opening up the box so I'm about to put on the
1:46 glasses for the very first time and you can see they are incredibly stylish I'm
1:51 showing the USB plug on the bottom I think I actually show that again later
1:55 cuz we did this all in I think two takes so yeah there we go
2:01 those are those are something else look at that I've actually been wearing these
2:05 around the office for about the last half hour so I'm getting lots of
2:09 compliments okay so there's the quick start guide it just shows you the
2:13 compatible video cards the minimum system requirements uh shows you how to
2:16 change out the nose piece so that you can make it fit uh you know larger pop
2:21 like noses and you know smaller other noses uh there's the infrared
2:25 transmitter so you got your USB plug you've got that connection is for
2:29 plugging into a television uh plugs
2:33 into I can't even remember anymore but it comes with the cable for it and then
2:38 that wheel right there you can use it to adjust the uh the depth of field I think
2:42 it is um then next I'm about to show you
2:47 the DVI to HDMI cable it comes with nothing special about that and then next
2:51 we've got the two USB a to mini B cables
2:55 one for the glasses and one for the infrared transmitter and on the GL
2:59 glasses themselves you can see the infrared receiver is actually right there so that's uh that the whole module
3:04 is in that side of the glasses I think he's gone and sped up the footage here
3:08 because I'm having trouble keeping up uh okay I'm showing the quick start
3:12 guide the drivers there's a coupon it comes with a uh like a warning and I
3:18 something about uh if you start bleeding from your bowels that's bad um there's
3:23 yeah there's a demo CD and then there's some kind of coupon I didn't look at it
3:27 long enough to figure out what it is and so there's the 3D glasses and now we're
3:30 uh we're on our way back to the office uh to do some actual work and thank you
3:35 for watching lineus Tech tips he didn't turn this off when I
3:40 asked him to there we go
