0:00 okay hi everybody uh
0:03 it's time for tech news you guys you guys ready i don't i can't do this i
0:07 can't do this i'm not doing this
0:10 okay okay okay smartphone makers are having a tough
0:14 time fitting better and better cameras into phones but samsung thinks they have
0:17 a solution take it out of the phone entirely sure why not a patent filed by
0:21 the company in 2017 has been spotted describing an assembly of lenses and
0:25 camera sensors that can be built into a stylus pen images in the patent show an
0:29 array of lenses that could be lined up to create a powerful zoom camera with a
0:34 sensor in the rear that would relay the images to a smartphone now the samsung
0:37 note 9 allows the user to trigger the phone camera with their s pen but this
0:41 design would mean that you could actually take pictures with the pen
0:45 possibly eliminating the need for a selfie camera on the front of the phone
0:48 that's pretty cool awesome why not although that would probably make for
0:52 some awkward maneuvering to try and capture your best angle how would you
0:55 even do that
0:59 i hate it already just kidding maybe it's really cool i don't know we're gonna find out aren't
1:03 we hey you thought phones with an 18 by nine aspect ratio were pushing it well
1:07 sony thinks that you thinking that is dumb not really i don't know i can't
1:12 really speak for sony but you know if some leaked press renders are any
1:15 indication the company is apparently planning to launch their xperia xa3 a
1:20 phone with a 21x9 display the same as ultrawide desktop monitors and some
1:24 films but not only that it's got an old-fashioned regular top bezel instead
1:28 of a notch or cutout for the selfie camera which adds even more length to
1:31 the device some more mundane details include a side mounted fingerprint
1:35 reader a usb type-c port on the bottom and a headphone jack up too whoa nice
1:40 let us know in the comments drop a comment would you guys want to see a
1:44 21x9 phone
1:47 my friends okay whatever whatever and the tech
1:51 world pretty much universally bashed att when it started displaying a 5g e logo
1:56 on Android phones connected to its 5g evolution network because it's not
2:00 actually 5g it's lte but now
2:04 apple has apparently jumped on the bandwagon of misleading names right along with Windows 10 and battlefield 1
2:09 and 5. an update to iOS 12.2 has caused the 5g e logo to appear on iphones in
2:14 areas where at t's fake 5g network is in
2:18 operation funnily enough this isn't even the first time the two companies have
2:21 pulled this stunt they did the same thing when upgrading the iphone 4s to 4g
2:26 back in 2012. we'll all be able to tell when 5g gets here because i'll be pwning
2:30 noobs and apex legends on my phone while i bust to and from work you just dab i
2:35 didn't dab i almost stabbed it it looked like you were dead i could definitely dab love them apex legends get on it

3:23 security researcher Linus hens no relation alignus has discovered and
3:28 demonstrated an exploit from macOS that could expose passwords to hackers but he
3:34 says he won't provide details to apple or help them patch it because the
3:38 company's bug bounty program only applies to iOS and not macOS it's not
3:44 fair yeah maybe you should just hack macOS and say he's using 5g instead of
3:48 wi-fi then apple will pay attention because they because they because the
3:51 other story yeah yeah we did yeah yeah yeah
3:55 check that out images have leaked to what is supposedly a smaller cheaper
3:59 version of samsung's upcoming galaxy s10 known as the s10e the device reportedly
4:04 features a 5.8 inch screen and a dual lens camera instead of the triple lens
4:09 setup on the s10 and the s10 plus it will however have the same camera cut
4:13 out as its larger siblings and we'll probably hear more about the device at
4:16 mobile world congress in a couple weeks that's cool i'm gonna get one all right
4:20 pre-order that's what they always say never pre-order
4:24 google has launched a chrome extension called password checkup that'll
4:27 automatically notify you if credentials you're using have been involved in a
4:31 known data breach and will suggest you new secure passwords this is cool but
4:35 google still have all your passwords what if sundar pichai goes rogue and
4:39 decides to take everyone down with them you know seems like a nice guy but you
4:42 know who else is a nice guy not riley hey oh got him got him what i
4:47 wrote yeah buddy microsoft has made the baffling decision to advertise its
4:51 subscription-only office 365 suite of apps by bashing its other
4:56 non-subscription version office 2019 the company's new ads pit sets of identical
5:01 twins against each other showing how the one using office 365 can use all the new
5:06 fancy features while the other one struggles like an idiot
5:11 yeah all done you're all done with what
5:16 buy our product but if you want to be a butt head you can buy our other product
5:19 too yeah that seems weird yeah jeez and if
5:24 regular tinder just isn't for you try refrigerating the new app from samsung
5:29 that lets single people send each other pictures of the inside of their fridge
5:34 oh refrigerating is an app for phones and for samsung's family hub
5:38 refrigerator and it's basically fridge tinder for people who
5:42 don't have a family to share the family hub fridge what
5:46 what what are tech companies smoking these
5:49 days cause i want some no
5:52 okay no i don't and i also don't want to continue hosting these episodes anymore
