0:07 welcome to my unboxing of a Samsung Smart TV so this is part of their six
0:12 series all right and the reason I'm unboxing this is that I need it for a
0:17 demo that I will be doing once we have
0:21 the TV set up in a new retail store that
0:25 I'm actually not sure if it is yet announced and I'm getting kind of a
0:30 funny look from cameraman but I think he's kind of saying no no it's okay
0:35 don't worry about it cuz it'll be announced soon so anyway yes that is why
0:40 I am opening up this TV and there are some pretty cool things about this
0:44 particular one right here that I do want to demo so this is a Smart TV does it
0:49 say that on the other side of the package ah it does okay that is exactly
0:52 what cameraman's looking at over there so a smart TV what does that mean it
0:56 means you have a web browser so you can access the internet on your big screen
0:59 you also have a Smart Hub which is a new convenient way of experiencing
1:03 constantly growing content with Samsung Smart TV and it also means that you can
1:08 use the network connection to access additional functionality that TVs were
1:14 previously not capable of doing so the
1:17 first thing we find inside is a little brackety bit the next thing we find
1:23 inside is a piece foam very thin packaging here we're going to oh yeah
1:27 we're totally going to do it check it out check it out iPhone thickness
1:30 comparison to show you guys the size or
1:34 the thickness of the packaging of this particular television
1:43 set okay piece of foone coming out I don't know cameraman made some kind of
1:47 gesture at me I'm not sure what he's talking
1:52 about oh I'm going to have to put this on the floor give me a sec guys all
1:56 right so the first thing we found here was a big sign that says stop if you
2:01 have a problem with your TV follow these steps before you return your TV to the
2:05 store I'm having trouble reading upside down so I'm going to go ahead and look
2:09 at this reboot the TV and external device confirm you have selected the
2:12 correct video Source all that good stuff there's the stand I did take that all or
2:17 I did unpack that off camera just to make life a little bit easier for myself
2:21 and cameraman here and I'm going go
2:24 ahead and pull off the cover so I can
2:29 show you guys guys and I haven't even told you what model this is this is the
2:33 UN46 d6300 SF so basically all you need
2:38 to know is it's 46 in actually I'm going to leave this on for now until I put it
2:43 onto the St it's 46 in it is six Series so this is not the highest series but
2:47 it's also not the lowest series from Samsung it has 240 HZ technology which
2:52 basically just means that uh with a 60 HZ signal it is here uh it is injecting
2:59 more more black frames in order to give you that clearer smoother sort of
3:03 appearance I just did my iPhone 4 thickness comparison let's go ahead and
3:08 have a look at the hold on I'm just
3:11 going to turn around here yeah let's have a look at what we got in terms of
3:14 inputs over here so we have USB USB
3:18 digital audio out USB we have four HDMI
3:24 ins including one that is apparently compatible with DVI we also have AVN
3:29 which is using ah yes I can reach using a
3:34 breakout cable capable of accepting um
3:37 both component as well as your stereo
3:41 audio connectors next we have PC in
3:44 which is VGA antenna in so there's your coaxial you've also got composite in so
3:51 that's the AV in 2 and finally you've got audio
3:54 out exd link okay and a landan port so
3:58 there's a t of input options and output options over
4:03 here and oh this is interesting for best cable connection to this product be sure
4:07 to use cables with maximum thickness as
4:10 below there you go maximum thickness .55 in fascinating okay so we're going to go
4:15 ahead and mount this to the stand and then we'll be pretty much ready to show
4:20 it to you properly because right now I have to hold the thing up while I'm doing
4:24 this so in terms of setup all you got to do is take the stand here on the back
4:29 slide it into position it's important to slide it into position rather than
4:32 trying to push it into position because uh otherwise it will not line up
4:37 correctly with the bottom two holes so we go ahead we put four screws in
4:44 here one two three hey look there's a Kensington lock on the back here as well
4:48 so you can secure your TV with one of those little notebook security locks all
4:53 right once that's done there are four more screws which we'll use in a moment
4:58 but we're going to go ahead and take the TV and put it onto the stand so here we
5:06 go yeah yeah and it balances right there
5:10 which makes these screws significantly easier to
5:14 install let's go ahead and get those out
5:18 TV assembly has gotten like so simple
5:26 now all right as you can tell I don't do TVs though often I ended up with two
5:30 extra leftover screws would you like to know why well the reason is because I'm
5:35 supposed to do these four screws so putting this piece into the bottom stand
5:40 first and then put the whole thing into the TV for now I'm going to leave it so
5:44 that I can just show you guys how the TV looks and the accessories that are
5:50 included with it so we've got your standard Samsung remote this looks
5:53 exactly like the Samsung remote that I have at home for my TV and then we've
5:58 also got some batteries for the remote so here are those breakout cables that
6:01 uh I told you guys existed I'm not sure if you believed me but there you are so
6:05 there's your component there's your composite it's really nice to Samsung to
6:08 include these because uh sort of weird
6:11 adapters can often be very very difficult to Source uh these are for
6:15 using the Vasa Mount okay these look like some kind of spacer thing that goes
6:20 on here so there you have that uh it does have a vase amount just in case you
6:24 guys didn't know and next thing we find back here besides the little cable
6:28 management piece is the low profile hey
6:32 check that out This TV has an included power brick in spite of its thinness so
6:36 there's your power in nice low profile cable so you can go ahead and run that
6:40 somewhere discreetly so let's uh oh hey
6:44 there's your rotation so you can uh hit
6:47 it that way and I'm going to go ahead and pull
6:51 off the plastic covering so you guys can
6:54 see what the finished product looks like
7:04 simply gorgeous TVs are getting so thin now
7:09 unbelievable okay so thank you for checking out my unboxing of the UN46
7:13 d6300 SF don't forget to subscribe to L Tech from unboxings reviews and other
7:17 computer videos and I really look forward to bringing you guys some video
7:21 content about the smart TV features of this particular product
7:27 upcoming and cameraman raged at me because I forgot to mention throughout
7:30 all of this that NC sells TVs now so yes when you go to the new NC Store which
7:35 I'm not the one who told you about you can buy TVs there cool
7:39 beans
