It goes, okay. And in this case, this specific product that's uh causing that effect in your body is the OnePlus Pad Goto. Now, I looked at the OnePlus pad nongo any number a while back and I remember thinking this is pretty nice. Although a lot of it was made me think of the iPad. Then OnePlus released the pad go and now we have the goto which is sort of like a more budget friendly version of that. So we'll have to see whether they retained some of those uh Apple influences but we can also look at it through any any kind of lens other than that as well. It's a tablet. It's its own thing. Ooh, that's a tight sleeve. Ooh, I have thoughts immediately. But before I go deep on that, what else is in the box here? An envelope with a secret letter from OnePlus saying, \"Do you like me?\" Circle yes or no. I will do that later. A power adapter with a USBA port on it. 45 watts superv apparently. a red cable that is I'm going to guess it's 3 and 1/2 ft long. What do you guys think? What do we think? Huh? But guess what? There's also accessories that go with the OnePlus pad Goto Pro. No, without the drop the last one. The OnePlus Pad Goto Stylo. I think there's been some other products that are called the Stylo and it just rubs me the wrong way. I want to say Stilo because that's French or but then Stylo makes me think of the gorilla song. Don't play it. copyright, but you can imagine it. That's allowed. There's a USBC port here for charging, and this uh Stylo uh can apparently be used for some interesting features that we'll get into later, but the uh overall feel of it is pretty nice. It's got like a pencil about a thick pencil size. Got an extra tip there. That is a thick Look at this. Look at that. That's a thick manual in there. and the OnePlus pad goto folio case. I'm a little disappointed because apparently uh OnePlus wanted this thing to be really good for productivity. Yet here we have a folio case. How is this going to help productivity? It looks kind of cool though. I like the see-through design. Maybe we'll see. Okay. It's giving me half like transparent tech like cool vibes and half like kitchen utensil. Like it feels like a slap chop. Like ooh it's a snug fit. How do we feel about that? You see someone walking around with that? Are you like whoa that guy's serious? That's not a toy. Or if it is a toy I want to play with it. I kind of like the shininess it lends to the edges. Tablets are about fashion. A big part of them are about fashion. Let's be serious. You can kind of prop it up, I'm guessing. Like that. Oh, and there's a clip for the pen up there for the stylo. Okay, nice. That's some that's somewhat functional. I could do some work with that. Now, it's time to actually take a look at the tablet itself. So, we got a 12.1 in display, which is slightly bigger than the previous Pad Go, and it's got a 2800 by 1980 resolution for a PPI of 284 and an interesting 7x5 aspect ratio. I don't think I've ever heard of that before, but they're coming up with all sorts of wacky things these days. Also 120 Hz refresh rate, which is an improvement as well, but we'll get into that when we actually use the device. On this side, we've got the volume up and volume down, as well as maybe a mic. On the bottom/right side, we got a USBC port, two speaker grills, another mic maybe. On the other long side, absolutely nothing. And on the top slash left side, uh, we've got two more speaker grills and a power button that I'm guessing is not a fingerprint reader because it's quite thin, but we'll find out later. I also forgot to mention on the front there, we've got the front-facing camera, which is 8 megapixels. And on the back, we've got the OnePlus logo and another 8 megapixel camera facing backwards this time. Very, very smooth. Do we know anything about the materials? They say anything fancy about that? When I did the OnePlus pad, not go or two, I made a lot of comparisons to iPad. It's got 4,96 levels of pressure sensitivity, which is kind of your standard that you that you get with these things. I mean, you can see the responsiveness. It's pretty good. Like, I don't feel like there's any sort of delay there. Overall, I'd say that I don't even know what I'm doing, but it seems very responsive. I mean, you can kind of get a better ch better look at like the latency there where it's dragging behind the the pen tool a little bit, but overall, I don't This doesn't feel sluggish at all. It feels like a more premium device than it appears to be. Apparently, the OnePlus notes app has the ability to calculate stuff like this with handwriting, just like the iPad calculator app, which I thought was pretty cool and I wanted to check out, but we can't figure out how to get it to work, but they claim that they have it. Anyway, there are kind of cool ways for you to uh use a tablet that uh, you know, imitates the efficiency of typing on a keyboard, but can't quite get you there. It's nice to see when companies are thinking about ways to optimize your experience and make things a little nicer. to to make it nice to them. I'm going to try and use this and see what it's like. So far, it seems to be like extremely responsive. The chip seems to be keeping up. It's a Demensity MediaTek Demensity 7300 Ultra, which you know is not the craziest thing in the world. Labs ran it through our standard testing suite for Android tablets. Uh we do not have Labs results for the predecessor to this, the OnePlus Pad Go. We found some online so you can kind of compare those. We do have Labs results for the Tab S11 Ultra and the iPad Pro M5 from when we did those videos. They didn't retest them for this video, but I just wanted to show it to give you guys a ballpark of like where this thing sits kind of in the landscape. According to that, it seems like a pretty weak processor. So, I don't I don't know if you're going to be able to do be doing like professional work on this thing, but I don't think that's the kind of device that this is. I feel like for what you're going to be doing with a tablet like this, maybe this is fine. It hasn't caused me issues so far. While I'm here, I'll also mention it's got 8 gigabytes of RAM, and it only comes with 128 gigs of onboard storage in the US. Oh, we can pin it to the sidebar. Anyway, it's nice to see OnePlus kind of having an option there. Although, I don't know how this is much different from like the default Android one. It seems like it's kind of just that. But maybe, hey, I don't want to slander. And I'm not buying this tablet for your mom, but just, you know, for any of the other moms out there, we're going to check out the camera. This doesn't give me supreme confidence in how this photo is going to look. There's that one. That was That's what the rear cam going to do a front H. I hope that there's some there better be some good software going on here. Okay, that definitely looks better than the than the preview image, but it's not it's not a great camera by any stretch of the imagination. Colors are pretty muted. The sharpness is there. It's sharpened it up a little bit compared to the preview, but you know, it's serviceable. I'd like to see a little bit more color in my face, but maybe that's a mess issue. And then the rear cameras. Ooh, this one is blurry. This one couldn't really figure out some of the details over there. Wasn't sure what to focus on. But in the kitchen photo, everything looks pretty sharp. Okay, video real quick. Hey, I'm just out here with the crew. We're fil We're filming on location. Most of the time, you're not going to be filming stuff with your iPad out like that that you're using this for Zoom calls or whatever. You're going to look nice on those. Just don't try to show your grandma what you're looking at. She will not like it. So, that's the OnePlus Pad Goto in its entirety. I covered absolutely everything you could possibly want to know about this thing, but the most important thing is the price. It's $400, which is not bad. Overall, I had a good experience with it. I didn't experience any kind of slowdowns. Some of the settings and I wanted to use some features and they were a little confusing in this sort of like fast-paced scenario, but I feel like if I had time to kind of dive into the settings and look at the tutorials, it would make sense. So, 400 bucks for a pretty midbudget, pretty premium feeling, ironically, uh, Android tablet, I'd say. Oh, and the speakers. Do you guys remember the speakers? And the display, it's pretty good.
