so","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":50.92,"end_s":58.079,"text":"step one assemble the testbench","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":55.28,"end_s":64.68,"text":"feet for this step you will use the four rubber feet four stainless washers and","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":61.719,"end_s":70.36,"text":"four 1-in screws that look like this you'll position the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":66.72,"end_s":71.759,"text":"feet over the mount over the uh guide","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":70.36,"end_s":76.56,"text":"holes right here position the screw and then you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":74.04,"end_s":81.2,"text":"will screw them in until they just barely poke through you're going to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":78.36,"end_s":87.0,"text":"tighten it the rest of the way later on when you attach the to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":88.92,"end_s":94.759,"text":"go so just about like that so where you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":91.96,"end_s":94.759,"text":"have a little bit","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":95.079,"end_s":99.72,"text":"exposed the next step is pretty straightforward we're going to install","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":98.92,"end_s":104.28,"text":"the motherboard uh rubber standoff guys okay","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":102.799,"end_s":110.079,"text":"so basically you're going to screw these down tight enough that the rubber","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":107.04,"end_s":112.079,"text":"doesn't rotate anymore but not so tight","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":110.079,"end_s":115.759,"text":"that the rubber starts to pucker because if you drive down tight enough you can","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":114.079,"end_s":121.24,"text":"put the screw right through the Rubber and you may ruin the rubber standof now","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":118.2,"end_s":123.64,"text":"for a couple of the holes so invariably","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":121.24,"end_s":128.92,"text":"this one up here which is going to be the top of where your motherboard is","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":125.479,"end_s":132.879,"text":"mounted and uh all the way through there","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":128.92,"end_s":134.16,"text":"we go and then uh sometimes this one","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":132.879,"end_s":138.12,"text":"sometimes this one and sometimes this one you're going to put these two nylon","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":136.319,"end_s":144.599,"text":"screws and then you're going to hand thread","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":139.8,"end_s":147.599,"text":"down a rubber standoff and this is to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":144.599,"end_s":149.56,"text":"hold the board in place cuz the threads","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":147.599,"end_s":153.879,"text":"on these guys here hopefully I can get this see the threads on here we'll keep","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":151.4,"end_s":159.4,"text":"the board from slipping off okay so just hand tight on there so you put it here","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":155.519,"end_s":161.64,"text":"for matx here for ATX and here for uh XL","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":159.4,"end_s":161.64,"text":"and","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":162.84,"end_s":169.239,"text":"hptx so I'm going to show you guys quickly this is what it looks like if","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":166.08,"end_s":171.12,"text":"you overtighten it see how it starts to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":169.239,"end_s":175.36,"text":"flare out at the bottom so I'm just going to untighten that one and put it","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":173.68,"end_s":179.84,"text":"back right where it's supposed to be there can't turn the rubber can't do","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":176.959,"end_s":183.159,"text":"that okay and finally see these little nuts right here I never ever used them","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":181.8,"end_s":187.599,"text":"but in theory after you put a motherboard on you can screw this on to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":185.28,"end_s":191.239,"text":"hold the motherboard in place more permanently next step is to install the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":189.72,"end_s":197.0,"text":"fan bracket so we're going to use these little guys and we are going to do fan","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":193.72,"end_s":198.64,"text":"one first please Focus please Focus","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":197.0,"end_s":202.84,"text":"there we go so you just flip this guy over put it like that and then drive the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":201.68,"end_s":208.959,"text":"screw into the this is going to be the bottom","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":206.28,"end_s":213.239,"text":"of the top deck so you can see the nylon washers poking through here so that is","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":211.56,"end_s":219.4,"text":"where the back of the motherboard will be on the other side of this piece and","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":216.959,"end_s":224.76,"text":"just like that these ones I do pretty tight just because uh I'm often doing","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":222.76,"end_s":228.239,"text":"weird stuff like hanging radiators off them and whatnot uh don't do them super","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":226.68,"end_s":233.439,"text":"super tight right now because you're going to want to have a little bit of give when you're installing your fans","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":231.879,"end_s":238.72,"text":"and then you can uh crank it a little bit later then you just repeat that","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":235.64,"end_s":241.28,"text":"process for fans two and three","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":238.72,"end_s":247.36,"text":"respectively for this next step the hard drive stopper you will need the spacer","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":244.72,"end_s":250.84,"text":"the stopper right there it goes right there so just to show you guys I have","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":248.64,"end_s":254.84,"text":"the fans on now already and you will need the slightly longer screw that","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":253.319,"end_s":262.0,"text":"looks like this put that in there and then screw it","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":259.6,"end_s":265.919,"text":"in the next step is installing the hard drive rails so my older Tech Stations","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":264.32,"end_s":270.28,"text":"don't come with the option for 2 and 1/2 in but the new ones do so regardless you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":268.6,"end_s":275.36,"text":"put in this one so so you can see you use a nylon spacer right here you use a","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":272.919,"end_s":280.919,"text":"screw and then you use the plastic rail which is going to hold on to the drives","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":278.8,"end_s":284.479,"text":"like this see like so so you'll either put your 2 and 1/2 in drive in there or","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":282.88,"end_s":288.88,"text":"you'll put your 3 and 1/2 in drive in there okay hopefully you guys can see","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":286.28,"end_s":292.32,"text":"that now it is imperative that you don't overtighten this screw right here like","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":290.639,"end_s":296.72,"text":"you see this doesn't move much remember it's not holding up the world it's just","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":294.6,"end_s":300.479,"text":"holding up a couple of drives so you make sure it's not moving around but I","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":298.72,"end_s":304.12,"text":"can still spin the water in here or the nylon spacer in here freely so don't","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":302.4,"end_s":308.0,"text":"like crank it tight I'm going to do mine for 3 and 1/2 in cuz ssds are not much","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":306.12,"end_s":312.199,"text":"of a problem to just stuff between your optical drive and your power supply not","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":310.4,"end_s":315.36,"text":"to mention that if you drop an SSD while you're moving your TX station it's not a","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":313.88,"end_s":319.28,"text":"big deal and if you drop a hard drive it's pretty much dead this next step","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":317.68,"end_s":324.919,"text":"seems a little tricky but actually it's quite easy you take this piece right","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":321.44,"end_s":327.72,"text":"here which is a threaded bolt you push","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":324.919,"end_s":330.52,"text":"it through uh so remember this is where the back of the motherboard is where","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":328.88,"end_s":334.639,"text":"these nylon post come through so you're putting it through this very Corner one","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":332.28,"end_s":341.68,"text":"here and the Very Corner one here then what you do is you take your shorter of","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":338.36,"end_s":343.639,"text":"your two uh types of posts you put the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":341.68,"end_s":348.36,"text":"hole at the top because remember that's where the uh expansion cards are going","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":345.96,"end_s":352.8,"text":"to eventually plug into and you thread this one on from the top and then you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":350.759,"end_s":357.52,"text":"take a longer one and you thread it on from the bottom turning at the same time","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":355.4,"end_s":361.479,"text":"so you can see here's one that I've partially completed I'm just going to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":359.0,"end_s":366.8,"text":"adjust my chest cam here so I can show you guys what I'm doing and I am","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":363.96,"end_s":370.479,"text":"twisting them both at the same time now high-speed PC mentions that it's a","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":368.68,"end_s":373.88,"text":"little bit tricky to ensure that this hole stays facing outward and that's","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":372.24,"end_s":378.16,"text":"very important so you want to tighten this one in all the way then hold it","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":375.8,"end_s":381.319,"text":"outward and tighten in the bottom one the rest of the way to make sure that it","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":379.8,"end_s":384.88,"text":"faces the right way because you want a nice snug fit between these otherwise","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":383.599,"end_s":388.88,"text":"your tech station is going to be loose when you pick it up for this next step","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":387.16,"end_s":392.96,"text":"all you need is the remaining two support posts and what we're going to be doing is","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":391.4,"end_s":398.039,"text":"we're going to be taking those screws that we threaded ever so slightly","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":394.88,"end_s":399.479,"text":"through the bottom platform and we are","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":398.039,"end_s":404.479,"text":"going to be screwing them into the support post so it's quite important","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":401.479,"end_s":407.52,"text":"while you're doing this to hold the post","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":404.479,"end_s":411.52,"text":"very snugly against the tech station","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":407.52,"end_s":413.639,"text":"please Focus Mr camera oh come on all","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":411.52,"end_s":418.08,"text":"right so here what I what I did was I held it between my","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":415.039,"end_s":421.0,"text":"legs focus","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":418.08,"end_s":424.24,"text":"focus thank you okay held it between my legs like this and then I use a","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":422.28,"end_s":429.479,"text":"screwdriver from one side holding it snugly and just screw that in like that","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":427.4,"end_s":434.44,"text":"you go until the foot compresses a little bit and then once that happens","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":431.759,"end_s":438.44,"text":"you want to do about a half turn so I think we're pretty much there holding","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":436.36,"end_s":444.0,"text":"the screw in place do about a half turn or even a quarter turn with the uh","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":441.96,"end_s":449.16,"text":"support stand itself to make sure that you've got a nice snug fit against the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":447.12,"end_s":454.24,"text":"base it's starting to look pretty complete compl I have taken my bottom","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":451.52,"end_s":459.4,"text":"portion and I have put it down on top of the top portion just like this I'm","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":456.8,"end_s":464.36,"text":"lining up these screws that are poking through a little bit with the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":461.4,"end_s":468.68,"text":"holes right there and then I'm going to tighten them down in much the same","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":465.84,"end_s":473.28,"text":"manner being careful not to overtighten through the feet so that the washer pops","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":471.0,"end_s":480.28,"text":"out you see the washer that's uh that's in there all right until I have a nice","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":477.039,"end_s":481.84,"text":"snug fit and then it's pretty much put","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":480.28,"end_s":486.52,"text":"together and all we're really left with is a couple finishing","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":484.44,"end_s":490.56,"text":"touches now I flip around the tech station one more time I put together","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":488.0,"end_s":494.52,"text":"this assembly where I have the final silver screws we don't really have any","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":491.96,"end_s":501.319,"text":"silver screws left a washer and a little cap to go over it and I'm threading","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":497.759,"end_s":503.639,"text":"those in well screwing those in to the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":501.319,"end_s":507.84,"text":"final part of the two platforms that needs to be supported so I'm just going","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":505.759,"end_s":513.44,"text":"to go till I can see it sticking through a little bit line that up with the hole","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":511.4,"end_s":518.08,"text":"there you can see what I'm doing here okay and then I'm going to hold it snug","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":515.8,"end_s":522.44,"text":"and screw those in and it's pretty much structurally complete at that point so","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":520.8,"end_s":526.279,"text":"I'm just going to put some pressure here I'll do this on camera since I want to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":524.36,"end_s":528.64,"text":"show you guys one of these finishing pouch","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":529.2,"end_s":534.839,"text":"steps all right so that's nice and snug then I just close up that little cap","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":533.56,"end_s":540.0,"text":"keeps that metal screw from being exposed and shorting anything out all right so now we're going to put that PCI","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":538.36,"end_s":543.839,"text":"support bracket on at the uh back where so here so you can","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":542.36,"end_s":547.399,"text":"see here's where the io of the motherboard is so this is where the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":545.44,"end_s":551.04,"text":"expansion cards go please note that these holes are going to be closer to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":549.16,"end_s":555.0,"text":"the motherboard rather than further away from it or the brackets on your PCI","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":552.88,"end_s":558.32,"text":"cards will not line up you're going to use two different screws for this one","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":556.56,"end_s":563.92,"text":"you're going to use a sharp one that goes into this post and then you're","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":560.88,"end_s":567.36,"text":"going to use a blunted","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":563.92,"end_s":568.56,"text":"one come on let's see focus focus","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":567.36,"end_s":573.04,"text":"whatever you're going to use a blunted one that goes up into this this nylon","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":571.519,"end_s":577.959,"text":"piece here so you're just going to use an L bracket position it right there and","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":576.48,"end_s":581.0,"text":"then screw them in completely so that it's nice and tight like I've done on","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":579.76,"end_s":586.8,"text":"this side here oh and last but not least for this","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":583.839,"end_s":592.36,"text":"piece going to put a little cap on there so it looks nice and finished you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":589.959,"end_s":599.399,"text":"know there so I'm mounting my fans I'm","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":595.36,"end_s":601.24,"text":"putting my neoprene nonslip pad into the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":599.399,"end_s":604.56,"text":"bottom of the tech station here so that's where I'll put my power supply","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":602.76,"end_s":609.16,"text":"all that good stuff so it doesn't move around once I put it down I'm also","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":607.04,"end_s":615.12,"text":"screwing in the fans so fans go in just like this now I","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":613.24,"end_s":618.519,"text":"person they provide a suggestion for how to mount the fans I believe fan mounting","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":616.72,"end_s":621.76,"text":"is very personal so you know maybe I want to take hot air away from the CPU","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":620.24,"end_s":625.0,"text":"area maybe I have a tower heat sink here blowing air that way and then maybe my","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":623.76,"end_s":628.64,"text":"graphics cards are installed in the lower slot so maybe I want to push coal","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":626.959,"end_s":633.44,"text":"there towards them whatever the case may be you can install the fans however","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":630.519,"end_s":638.079,"text":"suits your personal needs um the rest of the stuff I consider optional uh so","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":635.839,"end_s":641.2,"text":"these guys I mentioned before are for securing the motherboard down which installation well rather assembly guide for the high-speed PC uh XL ATX top deck tech station that I have for my personal use now or well rather my tech tips use so I'm going to show you guys step by step what to do the first thing is you will need a Phillips head screwdriver they recommend a powered one but I don't have one so I'll be using this one next you should compare all the parts included with the reference in the instruction manual here to make sure that everything's included if it's not there email support at highp speed pc.com all right finally you can get started you should clear a desk give yourself room and yeah that's pretty much it okay so step one assemble the testbench feet for this step you will use the four rubber feet four stainless washers and four 1-in screws that look like this you'll position the feet over the mount over the uh guide holes right here position the screw and then you will screw them in until they just barely poke through you're going to tighten it the rest of the way later on when you attach the upright post I'm going to show you guys how deep I'm going to go so just about like that so where you have a little bit exposed the next step is pretty straightforward we're going to install the motherboard uh rubber standoff guys okay so basically you're going to screw these down tight enough that the rubber doesn't rotate anymore but not so tight that the rubber starts to pucker because if you drive down tight enough you can put the screw right through the Rubber and you may ruin the rubber standof now for a couple of the holes so invariably this one up here which is going to be the top of where your motherboard is mounted and uh all the way through there we go and then uh sometimes this one sometimes this one and sometimes this one you're going to put these two nylon screws and then you're going to hand thread down a rubber standoff and this is to hold the board in place cuz the threads on these guys here hopefully I can get this see the threads on here we'll keep the board from slipping off okay so just hand tight on there so you put it here for matx here for ATX and here for uh XL and hptx so I'm going to show you guys quickly this is what it looks like if you overtighten it see how it starts to flare out at the bottom so I'm just going to untighten that one and put it back right where it's supposed to be there can't turn the rubber can't do that okay and finally see these little nuts right here I never ever used them but in theory after you put a motherboard on you can screw this on to hold the motherboard in place more permanently next step is to install the fan bracket so we're going to use these little guys and we are going to do fan one first please Focus please Focus there we go so you just flip this guy over put it like that and then drive the screw into the this is going to be the bottom of the top deck so you can see the nylon washers poking through here so that is where the back of the motherboard will be on the other side of this piece and just like that these ones I do pretty tight just because uh I'm often doing weird stuff like hanging radiators off them and whatnot uh don't do them super super tight right now because you're going to want to have a little bit of give when you're installing your fans and then you can uh crank it a little bit later then you just repeat that process for fans two and three respectively for this next step the hard drive stopper you will need the spacer the stopper right there it goes right there so just to show you guys I have the fans on now already and you will need the slightly longer screw that looks like this put that in there and then screw it in the next step is installing the hard drive rails so my older Tech Stations don't come with the option for 2 and 1/2 in but the new ones do so regardless you put in this one so so you can see you use a nylon spacer right here you use a screw and then you use the plastic rail which is going to hold on to the drives like this see like so so you'll either put your 2 and 1/2 in drive in there or you'll put your 3 and 1/2 in drive in there okay hopefully you guys can see that now it is imperative that you don't overtighten this screw right here like you see this doesn't move much remember it's not holding up the world it's just holding up a couple of drives so you make sure it's not moving around but I can still spin the water in here or the nylon spacer in here freely so don't like crank it tight I'm going to do mine for 3 and 1/2 in cuz ssds are not much of a problem to just stuff between your optical drive and your power supply not to mention that if you drop an SSD while you're moving your TX station it's not a big deal and if you drop a hard drive it's pretty much dead this next step seems a little tricky but actually it's quite easy you take this piece right here which is a threaded bolt you push it through uh so remember this is where the back of the motherboard is where these nylon post come through so you're putting it through this very Corner one here and the Very Corner one here then what you do is you take your shorter of your two uh types of posts you put the hole at the top because remember that's where the uh expansion cards are going to eventually plug into and you thread this one on from the top and then you take a longer one and you thread it on from the bottom turning at the same time so you can see here's one that I've partially completed I'm just going to adjust my chest cam here so I can show you guys what I'm doing and I am twisting them both at the same time now high-speed PC mentions that it's a little bit tricky to ensure that this hole stays facing outward and that's very important so you want to tighten this one in all the way then hold it outward and tighten in the bottom one the rest of the way to make sure that it faces the right way because you want a nice snug fit between these otherwise your tech station is going to be loose when you pick it up for this next step all you need is the remaining two support posts and what we're going to be doing is we're going to be taking those screws that we threaded ever so slightly through the bottom platform and we are going to be screwing them into the support post so it's quite important while you're doing this to hold the post very snugly against the tech station please Focus Mr camera oh come on all right so here what I what I did was I held it between my legs focus focus thank you okay held it between my legs like this and then I use a screwdriver from one side holding it snugly and just screw that in like that you go until the foot compresses a little bit and then once that happens you want to do about a half turn so I think we're pretty much there holding the screw in place do about a half turn or even a quarter turn with the uh support stand itself to make sure that you've got a nice snug fit against the base it's starting to look pretty complete compl I have taken my bottom portion and I have put it down on top of the top portion just like this I'm lining up these screws that are poking through a little bit with the holes right there and then I'm going to tighten them down in much the same manner being careful not to overtighten through the feet so that the washer pops out you see the washer that's uh that's in there all right until I have a nice snug fit and then it's pretty much put together and all we're really left with is a couple finishing touches now I flip around the tech station one more time I put together this assembly where I have the final silver screws we don't really have any silver screws left a washer and a little cap to go over it and I'm threading those in well screwing those in to the final part of the two platforms that needs to be supported so I'm just going to go till I can see it sticking through a little bit line that up with the hole there you can see what I'm doing here okay and then I'm going to hold it snug and screw those in and it's pretty much structurally complete at that point so I'm just going to put some pressure here I'll do this on camera since I want to show you guys one of these finishing pouch steps all right so that's nice and snug then I just close up that little cap keeps that metal screw from being exposed and shorting anything out all right so now we're going to put that PCI support bracket on at the uh back where so here so you can see here's where the io of the motherboard is so this is where the expansion cards go please note that these holes are going to be closer to the motherboard rather than further away from it or the brackets on your PCI cards will not line up you're going to use two different screws for this one you're going to use a sharp one that goes into this post and then you're going to use a blunted one come on let's see focus focus whatever you're going to use a blunted one that goes up into this this nylon piece here so you're just going to use an L bracket position it right there and then screw them in completely so that it's nice and tight like I've done on this side here oh and last but not least for this piece going to put a little cap on there so it looks nice and finished you know there so I'm mounting my fans I'm putting my neoprene nonslip pad into the bottom of the tech station here so that's where I'll put my power supply all that good stuff so it doesn't move around once I put it down I'm also screwing in the fans so fans go in just like this now I person they provide a suggestion for how to mount the fans I believe fan mounting is very personal so you know maybe I want to take hot air away from the CPU area maybe I have a tower heat sink here blowing air that way and then maybe my graphics cards are installed in the lower slot so maybe I want to push coal there towards them whatever the case may be you can install the fans however suits your personal needs um the rest of the stuff I consider optional uh so these guys I mentioned before are for securing the motherboard down which I consider highly optional I'll just throw these away um also we have plastic thumb screws which there's no way I'll use I have my own thumb screws that I prefer that are a little bit easier to work with cuz the um I don't know they just cooperate with the threads better see these ones I have a little bit of trouble with I don't really like those um and then obviously we've got fan screws uh this is another thing that I probably won't do but if you have curious pets or children then it's definitely a good idea to install these fangu guards just like that okay so just screw those in from the other side just two screws is good enough to secure a fangu in place and have it not vibrate so I would just do it like that remember the whole point of this is efficiency and quick Hardware testing so there it is that is my assembly guide for the high-speed PC top deck tech station I hope you enjoyed it don't forget to subscribe to lus Tech tips for more unboxings reviews and other computer videos"}
