RTX 5090 but as cool as the founders Edition card looks realistically that's not the one that most people are going to end up with which got us thinking what better place to collect all the Pokémon than here at CES so we task our team with tracking down every possible variant of the RTX 590 to show you guys some of these wild designs and we tracked down our sponsor Wicked Christians do your ears in the video description here in asus's Booth we Tracked Down the Rog astral 590 and if NVIDIA's concept for their Founders Edition was to go as Compact and small as possible Asis decided to go completely the other direction with it this is a 3.8 slot design it is flipping huge flipping heavy but makes very good use of that space and weight this is according to them their first four fan design that's right two fans blowing directly down onto the board area here a third fan on the front that blows straight through and a fourth fan that is assisting that third fan so you can see they actually increased the thin density of the cooler over here in order to take advantage of that greater static pressure in order to move the heat off of this massive blackw die they're using a Custom Vapor chamber that actually has grooves in it that heat pipes are embedded into for greater surface area to pull all the heat over to the end of the card here and then there's Zotac who's launching three versions of the RTX 590 their top dog amp extreme infinity and then the solid and solid OC which are basically the same card one's overclock the other one isn't from what the Reps have told me all three cards are pretty similar feature-wise there are some structural differences and whatnot so I'm going to focus on the amp extreme infinity and I'll tell you what the differences are in the solid at the end in terms of looks Zotac definitely seems seems to be going for a more understated Vibe on these cards I mean compared to the last generation with the crazy RGB like wave thing it's a lot more simple a lot more streamlined uh aside from the end which has an infinity mirror there's an RGB ring inside of the mirror which causes that cool infinity mirror effect and then a RGB strip along the top of the car along with the logo that lights up all of the lighting is individually controllable with their software or if you don't want to run another piece of software they've actually included what they're calling spect link which is an RGB header that you can connect to your motherboard I just don't know why they put it on the top of the card it probably wouldn't have been my first choice but that's where it is now since we're in this region we can kind of talk about the other stuff over here there's a little button which is your BIOS switch to switch between the max performance and quieter operation modes they didn't give me any specs as to if that changes the clock speeds but I assume it probably limits the boost a little bit lowers the fan speeds a little bit to keep it quiet and then we have the power connector which there is some updates here compared to their last generation they actually flipped the connector like some of the other aib partners so that it's a lot easier to take in and out and they also added an LED indicator that tells you whether or not the connector is plugged in all the way and if it detects that it's not plugged in all the way it apparently will cut power at this port and prevent it from connecting so that you don't cause a fire overall it seems like a pretty nice looking and very structurally sound cart don't worry this is a dummy I can't actually break it it doesn't even work apparently they added a new reinforcement plate on the inside to increase the rigidity and uh it seems seems to work now we can talk cooling all three cards are featuring the same ice storm 3.0 cooler design which has a 34% larger Vapor chamber than last generation according to Zotac they also have a new style of fan that has each blade interconnected on the outside edge if you can see that which supposedly makes them stronger and last longer and they're all individually controllable now which is an upgrade from the last generation what are you going to do with that I don't know but if you want this fan to be like 1100 RPM and this one to be 1,000 and this one to be 900 you can do that like last generation they still have a zero RPM mode so when the card's not doing anything the fans will just completely shut off and it is still a pass through cooler design on the end so the PCB of the card actually ends like here and then this is a fan that literally just blows straight through you can see the fins inside there actually I can see you wow and since we're on this side I should probably mention these cards are are actually shorter than the previous generation by about an inch so probably about that much shorter uh kind of in line with NVIDIA's reference design but they are still thick it is a three plus slot card design they don't have an exact spec for 3.2 or whatever but it kind of looks like around that and the amp extreme Infinity is ever so slightly thicker than the solid card we're talking like a quarter or an eighth of an inch here it's nothing crazy now in terms of other things they don't know yet they don't have Boost clock speeds for me they don't have weight for me and I can't weigh this one because if you can see here it's missing all the electronics there's no GPU even in here so we're just going to have to wait and find out as for what comes in the box they're including a metal support stand with any of their triple fan cards so that means any of their 509s they also include the Spectra Link cable so you can connect it to your motherboard and it'll come of course with a 12volt high power to 4 8 Pin adapter and then there's the solid and solid OC which for seemingly most intense and purposes is almost the exact same card it's got the same fans it's got the same coolers it's got RGB although a little bit more basic still has a BIOS switch still has the fancy power connector still has the spectral link motherboard connector it's physically very similar Dimensions it happens to use up a tiny bit less slot space like you're talking maybe a quarter of an eighth of an inch but to be honest I think the design on this one is more my style even though it's a little bit costed down like a more Basic Metal back plate instead of the fancy CNC machined one on the infinity edge it's more understated it's clean has less gimmicks which is kind of my vibe and on all three cards you can expect a warranty of 3 years just like the previous generation and just like pretty much every NVIDIA card and that's zot they have their entire RTX 50 Series lineup in all three skew so check them out or maybe check out the next card but maybe you're feeling a little bit more lucky and that's where msi's new Vanguard comes in if you get the launch edition of their 50 Series Vanguard cards you can get one of their little lies right here and they are very funl looking my personal favorites are the little lucky with some boba or the beer lucky both absolutely fantastic but wait what the heck is a Vanguard card let's look at it let's take a look at msi's lineup of gpus here their absolute most balls ofth wall one is the Supreme liquid OC this guy right here has a really cool really massive copper plate on the bottom big old impingement jet that gets both your GPU and all of your vrms in one stepping down by one we have the Supreme right here but the aircooled version still absolutely massive sort of thing that makes your PCIe slots say lay ouch moving on the Vanguard has just been stolen what a dick but that is basically your supreme overclocked but a little bit more gamer esque with loads of RGB moving on to the gaming Trio this is more of like your very standard card you can expect slightly higher temperatures than Supreme in the Vanguard but it still is going to be pretty reasonable of course if you want white that is an option in the 50 Series although if you're looking for something a little bit more professional there's the venti that's lower end one of course with the 59 hitting 570 wat the coolers are quite big on the liquid version of it it is now a 360 mm just for your GPU which means that your cases might have to also bon in size moving over we can look at the 590 Supreme and this right here is absolutely massive inside of this there are 11 heat pipes and just you could work out with this thing we don't have the scale here but like this is actual metal all aluminum it is an obscenely heavy card now they do have different versions of this that will be coming but sadly they don't have them here but we will have a 4fan and a five fan version of this that look super cool it's a bit of a Choose Your Own Adventure depending on the exact dimensions of your case and on to the next purse next up is gigabyte and they've got four variants of the 5090 and we're going to go through all of them really quickly but I'm going to focus on only one of them but first up we've got the gaming OC with their RGB sheath so you can turn it on and off if you want with the flick of a well not the flick of a switch but the slide of a sheath the next too that I can't interact too much cuz they're bolted to the stand is the new 590 extreme water Force water block looks pretty sick that's for you water cooling enthusiasts not for me but for someone who doesn't want to water cool a loop but you do like aiio in your system we've got the 590 extreme water Force 32G no WB no water block this one is going to fit right into your system no issues you just install it like you would a normal graphics card and then B the radiator to somewhere in your case that it's going to fit I hope you've got a case that's big enough to fit a 360 mil rad because that's how big it is and last but not least the 90 Master this is their Halo tier Flagship product and it is huge I went all the way to the studio on Saturday morning to pick up the scale that Andrew forgot because we were going to weigh these cards and guess what no one else has so by gosh you know I have to do it it's weighing in at a whopping 5.79 lb we don't have a bunch of specs like price warranty information or even length but it's longer than my forearm as for looks it is absolutely beautiful we've got this really nice shiny front everything else is pretty much all blacked out and then for any of you non-vertical mounting folk it's going to have a bunch of RGB on the front of the card the cooling solution looks absolutely monstrous so even though it's pulling 575 WTS and the Fe version is Tiny who knows what that's going to heat up to this thing is almost definitely going to stay cool no matter what you're putting it through not only is it going to come with a dual boot mode so you can switch it to gaming or silent but it's also going to come with a GPU brace so that even with all of this heft you'll be supported it's not just going to fall out of those slots you're good to go their data card here also says that this should be RGB on the metal back plate so it's going to look real nice in your case and you're not going to have to spring for some fancy extra RGB GPU back plate back to you lonus the 5090 Founders Edition is just a feet of engineering through and through this is the entire main PCB and I do mean main because there is two more of them you might be wondering why that's because this sits in the middle of the card and as we'll see in a moment there is dual flow through fans on each side of it on the back side of this incredibly dense and surprisingly like heavy PCB is two plugs right here and right here those are for the extenders that go out to your PC I express and your I/O on the end I'm going to trade you the card now so as you can see the actual PCB is just in the middle here which means it shouldn't be able to go all the way across to your PCI Express and it shouldn't be able to reach to your IO so they have to extend those with additional small pcbs it'll make water cooling a little bit complicated but it will also make it so that your water cooled version of this card will be really really small the coolest part for the actual just air cooled ver version though is those dual
