You know what's very nostalgic a tank electronic electronic, right? Yeah, rice cooker a rice cooker at home what I use for Actually, I brought that Sounds funny. I brought that rice cooker with me to Canada for 13 years. So that's pretty much It's got to be the SNES. I absolutely love this nest played it a ton as a kid It's on my first gaming memories with Super Mario World And then I used to skip school in high school to play Super Mario with my friends. So it always takes me back holding that controller Plus Tetris attack, I'll say it once I'll say it again The wiggler stage soundtrack is the best soundtrack song of all time Listen to it. Can I say the Game Boy atomic cup of atomic purple Game Boy color? I guess that's retro tech at this point my young man Still got lots of life in me the only game I ever had for it was Pokemon yellow But I was the first kid in my grade 6 class To have Pokemon yellow So I brought it to school and then people were like, whoa, you got Pokemon yellow and Game Boy color here And then I had to like go to like a lunch meeting for like band or something and my friend was like, oh Here give me your game boy. I'm a good Pokemon trainer And so I gave him my game boy over lunch and I came back and like you know to be fair Pikachu was up a couple levels so He broke it He beat the elite for elite for I was gonna say the final four the fantastic four Pikachu versus I want to see that. Okay, so The the old game boys were not back lit so you couldn't see on an airplane or going through the tunnel or driving at night So you had to buy an external little light that you plug in the side and it would shine the light and kind of block the screen You could like bend it and stuff What's killed your battery so fast and your mom got mad at you because you had to buy more batteries The Logitech G5 Logitech G5 mouse and Along with that We have this mouse pad over in the main building on in the build corner made by funk They've been defunct for a while now and it's like a hard mouse pad Mm-hmm, and that was like the first kind of big gaming purchase I made for some reason about the mouse pad before I bought the mouse, but Yeah, that that funk mouse pad. I had like that exact one and It just sits over there and from time to time if I'm in build corner and have nothing better to do We'll just kind of look at the mouse pad longingly What's the special about it? It just things glide along it so nicely in a way. They just don't get with soft mouse pads. Mm-hmm, and It's sad that the hard mouse pads have kind of Gone away In the way that they have because for a while there they were like the hot thing I don't know if it would be tech and I don't know if it's a lame answer But I had a leapfrog and it was very fun to use Okay, it was good like you had like the book and then you had the pen and somehow it knew what you were pointing to in the book and That was a really fun piece of tech for me. Got to be the NES first game console ever played on My parents had my mom actually had it for my dad after they got married as a christmas present with original gold cartridge zelda it was the first game I ever beat seven years old and I had the the folder map that came with it and I mean it was 90% empty boxes and my parents had played so much. They'd filled in every area on the map Wow, and they had inch sharpie which Ladies and gentlemen my parents Inch sharpie and they had burned every bush in the game. They had blown up every inch of rock So definitely the NES and and zelda. Yeah, my n64 That's the first thing it comes to mind. Oh, I loved mark art 64 Donkey Kong 64 banjo kazooie I was too young for golden eye when I got my n64 apparently according to my parents Um, but yeah, and then we would like we would rent uh games too from like, uh Rogers remember that Rogers video Yeah, we'd get uh Movie games buzz uh bug's life toy story Just a bunch of games and now that i'm older I have played golden eye on an n64. It's so fun. It's so fun But yeah, n64 when I think about it and the the best part about it was knowing that Like I love the two controllers because I grew up with siblings. So there's always a controller for someone else I would just leave it unplugged That's my confession Wow Or or you know play one single player games too. Have you told them about this yet? So he threw it in the trash can in the mall So so rest in peace to my translucent orange n64 and all of my games with it. That would mean worth a lot right now. Like not as an intensive operating system on it and I thought hey Linux could be really cool and so this was uh This computer is like my gateway into like wow playing around with Linux and getting really into tech and stuff like that um Like nothing's super crazy, but it was like I don't know it really cemented my interest into tech and it was a really really cool experience just like messing around with stuff What's a piece of tech that's very nostalgic to you vcr vcr Yeah, why uh That's what I started editing on that was uh Just a piece of equipment like there's nothing quite like it rewinding Stuff you can't do these that sounds really dumb You can't rewind you can't rewind. You're paying it every weekend And uh, what are you gonna do buy the video for like five times the price not five times like three times It was a good amount. They knew how to pay for They know that you know, you had to they had to pay for that So yeah vcrs vcrs and just tapes in general vhs tapes in general I guess my film camera if you come that as Attack yeah, because like a lot of like my film cameras. It does really large Uh Format and it can do proper shapes where that was kind of difficult for printers at the time Do you have one yourself?
