And then slap the motherboard in there with the 10850K. Not the CPU and motherboard. Slap the RAM in there. It's the fucking Rams. So now you have some sort of like hybrid creation now, right? You didn't consult anybody about what size it might be? No, I did not. I wanted these speakers for a long time, like for two years, and it's a pretty big ticket item, you know? And for this upgrade, I don't know if you can tell, but all the items that I have are pretty big ticket items. Right. Because like, hey, I mean, I couldn't afford a $100 desk myself. I can't really, well, I can't. I don't want to spend $400 on something like $100 on speakers. Fair enough. Yeah, so let someone else pay for it. Thanks, Intel. I mean, future-proofing, right? Future-proofing, yeah, yeah, yeah. Future-proofing, that's it. What if you move into a bigger place, right? I was gonna talk about, so, for this setup, I brought the PC to set this one time, and it was like, we have to make a film within 48 hours, and they were shooting with an Alexa Mini LF, so it was shooting 4K ProRes, and in one day, in one day, we shot one terabyte of footage in one day. Oh my gosh. Yeah. And I brought that, if I brought a laptop there, oh man, my laptop would have been on fire, but I brought the whole set of, I have photos. I don't know if I should send it to you later, man. Yeah, I know, that'd be sick. Can I show it to you now? Well, pop it up. Pop it, pop it up. Boom, boom, boom. Yeah, yeah. So, I got, look at this. This is my laptop. Wow. I got my UPS, my Intel rig, and my monitor. I hauled that to set. It looks like this on set. Oh wow, that's pretty sick. I know, right? So I was literally editing on it live, and from like 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Oh my God. You know. And then the next day was like 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. But man, I'm just so happy with the setup, the 3080's inside, and no plural. The 3080 inside and the 10850K, it just edits the 4K Pro S454 like butter. I was playing back so smooth. It was so nice. I thought about bringing the speakers there, because hey, it's eight inch, it's amazing, but I just can't figure out how to haul it, because they're so expensive. I don't want to break it or scratch. It'd be heavy. The studio monitors are pretty durable. They're really heavy. Yeah, they'll probably last me like 20 years. That's why I have them. It's not ideal now. I know that 100%, but in the future, if I have my own studio or whatever, or like editing suite or something, then it's definitely gonna be there for me. Good to hear that you're using the PC though. It's so good, man. Oh man. Premiere only crashed once. Only once. Once. That's actually pretty good, yeah. It was a four minute, four and a half minute video exported the Pro S within 10 minutes. That's pretty quick. That's fast. Yeah, it's so good. Oh man. And whenever you edit stuff, like you want things to play back smooth, so that you don't get your head, it has to be clear, every playback, if there's a skip or something like that, then you're kind of like, what the fuck happened? But if it's smooth, then you know exactly you're gonna get in the final product. So your creativity, juice, brain, whatever flow, it just flows so much better. And I'm just so happy with the setup. So happy. Audio is 50% of the video, and I want to get better at it. And these speakers are really gonna help me. With studio monitors, they're usually very flat sounding and not much flavor in them. I'll be honest, I have no idea about audio. I should not have to see anything of the audio in the video. Cause it's definitely shake, it could shake my room if I turn it up. But I mean, you're not wrong. Studio monitors are supposed to be flat. Yeah, they're supposed to be pretty flat and inaccurate. Aw man! Yeah Linus? What on earth did you plug that Ethernet port into? Oh. Is this a hundred megabit per second port? Man, networking stuff is so confusing. It smells bad. Smart enough. I think I speak for everyone when I say that eight inches is really too much. And somehow the panel's going to be laying on the ground. So I have to keep the film on there or else I'll scratch the screen. But that hasn't happened yet. I don't know when that will happen. So yeah. He's going to edit someone's portrait and send it to them. And they're going to be like, why is it like this? That's all right. When you're immersed in the experience of the film, you're immersed, right? You don't care about the angle. You're going to have 16 terabytes of usable space. That's both. No, it's about to say, doesn't the angle ruin the immersion? That's all right. The reason why I have my bed on the ground is because I bought the bed and I couldn't afford the frame anymore. So yeah. Is that our sound is over there. Yeah. That wouldn't bother you, though? I'll probably play it through the TV. So with the choice between great quality audio that's coming from the wrong place or atrocious audio that's coming from the right place, you take the bad audio from the right direction. It's a tough call. I'm not saying there's a right answer here. I don't know what to do, Ernest. I'm still trying to figure out how the setup is going to work. But I think in this situation, we can go. It'll take quite a year. Oh, never mind. Yeah. I don't think you can do it. Right? Yeah. I feel like the theater is over there, but I'm watching from here. What's your favorite part of the setup? My favorite part of the setup, man. So every time I go home now, in the back of my head, it's like there's a treat. I can hear really good music from those studio monitors. I listen to a lot of Dr. Drays on them. Yeah, and Eminem, just hip hop, Kendrick Lamar's new album. Those speakers are so good for hip hop. And I would say my favorite, it's definitely the speakers. OLED TV is probably second. But the PC in general, man, I don't know. I love the PC. I love this. I love everything about this setup. Well, I mean, I configured it, so. But I think the part that makes me the most happy is definitely the studio monitor. Because even at work, I can use the workstation, right? So at home, it's like the PC is nothing really special compared to work, but we're a studio monitor. We don't have that at work. I can't steal them from work, but I have one at home now. So I can listen to music in a way that it was intended to, I guess, even though the placement of the speakers are questionable. And the bass, I don't know anything terms, but people say it like put some bass traps, whatever. It's a rear ported speaker, though, that I know for sure. So it's too close to the wall.
