Yeah serious many years ago yeah I think working in a shoe factory in Transylvania was pretty yeah I don't know got me on the spot but um I think like I just started here what six months ago seven months ago I think I'm gonna get a lot more of those. I think it's longer than six months. You tired of me already? Yeah. I didn't think these would come out in school this way. It's pure skills man pure skills. I think that's pretty good. I think those. They're good to me. Yeah. Do you think they'll actually can I stand in them? Do you think I'll actually like if I stand on my tippy toes? I would stand in like 50% I wouldn't trust your whole weight on them. I just I'll just walk in my tippy toes. Yeah that should be fine. I'm used to these kind of high boots it's all good. Off camera I cut this boot a few days ago just to test fit the prints and stuff and now we're just gonna band saw this heel off sit down and get it ready to glue the heel on. There we go now we just have to sand it down the band saw blade has to be replaced. What do you want to stick them with? Normally use something like epoxy or something for this but we're just gonna use some hot glue because that's what this project is like. So which one they're not quite um symmetrical right? No there's a left and a right and those will go there. This is all my fine boots dreams come true and this is the before heel. Yeah. One of the other options that we had if we didn't want to paint them is to do something like electroplating. Now we didn't realize that we actually had an electroplating kit and in a very simplistic way it's basically just a transfer of metal ions via a solution from a positive electrode to a negative one. So if we ever want to do something further let us know in the comments and we can do something like electroplating we even have something like anyone in whoever taken a beginner a chemistry level class will know copper 2 sulfate pentahydrates so I mean the possibilities are in this. One of the things I did while designing this was I gave a relief along the edge to try and hide the seam better. What we're going to do is we're just going to run some glue here and call it a day. This mini hot glue gun isn't the best either but you can just put hot glue on hit it with a torch instead of using the hot glue gun. So on the metal ones that would work well just put a bunch of glue hit it with a torch heated up. I'm so excited about these look at them. So I mean they actually feel pretty sturdy they I mean for essentially a prototype they are amazing. Yeah they're sick they're so sick. This is super short I'm really curious to see how they how they are when you actually wear them. Lisa you want to give them a spin? Oh yeah. Oh yeah those are sick. Oh yeah they look so good. Yeah I mean I might not wear them the rest of the day. Yeah. Let me see if I can put any you know there's a definite bend. Yeah they flex. Yeah well we I mean we knew that was going to happen but like imagine you were just prototyping these like yeah that'd be amazing. Oh yeah. Can we do more of this? I want to do more of this. So safe to say they lived up to your expectations? Yeah I'm so excited about these. I'm not actually going to hear the end of this from Nick. Yes. He's going to tease me so bad but I don't care.
