Oh yeah, I saw you holding the phone all suspicious like and I was like,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":80.56,"end_s":83.68,"text":"Pankrat doesn't normally do that. Yeah, no, I don't normally do that.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":84.64,"end_s":92.48,"text":"Um, do we have an O11 dynamic? Yes. Thanks, AJ. Say hi to the flow plane people.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":95.52,"end_s":100.0,"text":"Either or should be fine. Justin's already found something. Of course, this one's white too.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":100.72,"end_s":103.36,"text":"That's not a problem on this one though. We can take it apart and paint it easier.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":104.16,"end_s":108.8,"text":"But all of our, oh, the exit pieces are black on that one still, so it might be okay.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":108.8,"end_s":114.32,"text":"Yeah, the exit pieces are black. It's fine. Cool. Because all our pieces that are going inside are","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":114.32,"end_s":119.84,"text":"black. Actually, this thing's a mix. It's panda. Yeah. We still have mesh on a bunch of the panels","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":119.84,"end_s":127.76,"text":"that would need to be separated. No, no, it's magnet. Oh, is it? Oh my goodness. So much nicer.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":127.76,"end_s":132.0,"text":"Okay. Yeah, I think this is going to be the move, Mike. Now, do we order one in or use this one?","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":132.0,"end_s":138.24,"text":"We can just use this one. I forgot to do my daily worship for Pankrats. So these","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":147.12,"end_s":152.8,"text":"unscrew, that can come off. Okay. Anything that's screwed down will unscrew. But this is, yeah,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":152.8,"end_s":158.4,"text":"I'd say this is going to be far easier for me to deal with. Still have space for fans here,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":159.36,"end_s":165.52,"text":"fans here, AIO there. So that's fine. We can't vertical mount the GPU in this case, but that's","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":165.52,"end_s":171.12,"text":"not the end of the world. Or do we have a vertical mount? We might have a vertical mount bracket","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":171.12,"end_s":175.92,"text":"that will just fit in there. Let's take a look. So there's an O11 dynamic EVO here. It looks like","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":175.92,"end_s":187.2,"text":"it's a different color on the inside. Oh, and if that one's black, then we don't have to worry","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":187.2,"end_s":192.64,"text":"about covering up white bits. I have fingers underneath to help. I'm contributing. Oh, I see a","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":193.52,"end_s":199.52,"text":"riser too. That's good. This one being black actually is kind of nice too. It's also backed. Oh,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":200.64,"end_s":210.16,"text":"it's mirrored. It's flipped. Someone's been doing some stuff. Someone's been in here. So","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":211.52,"end_s":217.6,"text":"there's a riser, but it doesn't actually hook up to a vertical mount. There's boxes in here for","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":217.68,"end_s":228.16,"text":"other things. Oh, oh, oh. A bright GPU kit in black. That looks like the winner. It's all wise.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":230.24,"end_s":239.6,"text":"Of course. That's box number two. We got a second vertical GPU kit. Okay. It feels heavier.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":239.6,"end_s":244.72,"text":"Feels heavier. That's a good sign. Oh, that was probably the riser. That was that's problem.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":248.56,"end_s":249.28,"text":"But it wasn't.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":252.48,"end_s":256.48,"text":"Nice. Okay. Perfect. That's got the riser with it too. I have concerns.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":258.24,"end_s":263.36,"text":"I will show you. I will show you concerns. It is much harder to be effective at your job when","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":263.36,"end_s":270.72,"text":"you have one hand. Oh, it might be okay. Because we've only got a double bracket on here. Even","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":270.72,"end_s":275.68,"text":"though it's a four-slot GPU, you've only got a double bracket. Well, I'm going to pull these out","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":275.68,"end_s":280.64,"text":"and then I'm going to see. Looks like we have a winner. We're going to pivot to the O11. I'm going","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":280.64,"end_s":286.32,"text":"to stick everything back in where it's supposed to go and strip this case down with Justin so that","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":286.32,"end_s":291.36,"text":"we can send it off for sandblasting. Case has been disassembled enough that we gave it over to Alex,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":291.36,"end_s":296.16,"text":"and he's going to find someone to sandblast it for us so that we can paint it. The dude got back","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":296.16,"end_s":300.96,"text":"already. He can sandblast it. Nice. We're going to try and reassemble this case that we have tore","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":300.96,"end_s":310.08,"text":"apart. We're going to reassemble this case that we mostly tore apart, and then it can be used for","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":310.08,"end_s":316.16,"text":"other things again. Hopefully it goes back together nicely. Now, lunch time. Evan wants me to review","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":316.16,"end_s":322.0,"text":"a video for him, so that's what I'm going to do next. Lunch is done now. I'm here a little bit early, so we're still setting up. This","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":331.2,"end_s":335.04,"text":"is what the other side looks like. I'm going to see what I can do to help set up. This is how I'm","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":335.04,"end_s":344.56,"text":"helping. Thank you, David. We good to go? We're good to go. Sweet. We're good to go. What? Maybe","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":344.56,"end_s":350.96,"text":"we're not good to go. Shoot is all wrapped up. Elijah's cleaning up some of the tape that we put","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":350.96,"end_s":355.68,"text":"down. I've got about an hour left for the day. Let's see what else we can get finished. This","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":355.68,"end_s":367.52,"text":"is a setup that Sean and I have been working on a little bit. We've got a system here hooked up to","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":369.2,"end_s":377.04,"text":"an HDMI splitter, which one side of it goes into a capture card, which goes to a laptop","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":378.0,"end_s":385.04,"text":"and a monitor, but the other side of it goes into this guy, a little","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":387.12,"end_s":394.24,"text":"PCIe KVM, so that we can have someone working remotely to do some emerytuting for us.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":394.24,"end_s":397.6,"text":"And we're recording the whole thing with a little security camera over there.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":398.32,"end_s":400.56,"text":"And we're going to get some nice time-lapse footage.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":401.52,"end_s":408.64,"text":"So I got the camera and that's going to be recording this guy here.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":410.24,"end_s":414.96,"text":"Evan is interested in seeing how many VMs we can have nested into something for a short,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":414.96,"end_s":420.48,"text":"so I'm going to do a little bit of testing with a bench and we'll see how far we can get.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":420.48,"end_s":424.8,"text":"Just start with Hyper-V and put a Hyper-V on a Hyper-V on a Hyper-V, I guess.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":424.8,"end_s":432.32,"text":"Okay, so what I've done is I have sysprepped my VM so that I can grab the virtual hard drive","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":432.32,"end_s":438.08,"text":"and throw that into a shared folder on my main host. And then when I'm making new VMs,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":438.08,"end_s":442.4,"text":"I can literally just copy that virtual hard drive in. I've got most of the work done for me already","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":443.2,"end_s":449.36,"text":"and that should speed things up a lot. Okay, VM2 is running. Here's VM1.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":449.76,"end_s":457.36,"text":"So you got that running in a window and here is VM2.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":460.16,"end_s":465.92,"text":"Time for morning stand-up though. We'll have all of the writers kind of come together and","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":465.92,"end_s":470.64,"text":"talk about what we're going to do for the day. I'm doing a little bit of","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":471.28,"end_s":478.64,"text":"discovery into how far you can nest VMs for a short. So far I'm three deep and we'll see","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":478.64,"end_s":488.0,"text":"how far that can go. And then I want to focus mostly on red bull stuff. Yeah, we were able to return the old one so we didn't actually end up standing","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":508.32,"end_s":510.48,"text":"significantly more money. We'll try to return this one too.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":511.52,"end_s":516.88,"text":"This one's at a point where I don't think we could return it nicely because the cops","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":516.88,"end_s":521.6,"text":"work a bunch. Those are the grounds upon which you return it.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":524.08,"end_s":531.2,"text":"Going to start my third nested VM. I can already tell you this isn't hope.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":532.16,"end_s":536.32,"text":"The processor setting for the virtual machine is incompatible.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":537.04,"end_s":541.92,"text":"A remote RAM tuning project needs a little bit of help so I'm going to be swapping out","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":542.72,"end_s":549.2,"text":"the storage on the screen capture and kind of resetting things. I've got everything powered","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":549.2,"end_s":554.96,"text":"off right now because it was all frozen up. 4TB SSD and go straight to that SSD.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":554.96,"end_s":561.76,"text":"Okay, okay. We'll start the screen recording again.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":562.88,"end_s":569.76,"text":"Let's power this guy back up and see where we get to. If not, what I might have to do is","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":571.2,"end_s":576.16,"text":"use that little guy there. Oh, still stuck there. That's the guy I want.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":576.96,"end_s":583.12,"text":"Now there's some signs of life. Come on, post screen. Hey, there we go.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":584.0,"end_s":590.4,"text":"Okay, I made a few changes to my virtual machine stuff and I think we're","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":591.6,"end_s":593.36,"text":"in a spot where we should be able to go.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":596.56,"end_s":605.76,"text":"There we go. Our third nested VM. What you would use this for? I have no idea.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":607.04,"end_s":612.08,"text":"Okay, so I've got all of my VMs and my main host kind of all lined up here.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":613.2,"end_s":616.56,"text":"I think you'll be able to tell pretty quickly what the experience is like,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":616.56,"end_s":623.52,"text":"just clicking on the start menu and everything. So here's the main host. It's fine.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":625.36,"end_s":634.16,"text":"Here's the first VM. It's also pretty good. Second nested VM. You can see it's already","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":634.16,"end_s":638.64,"text":"starting to get a bit slower. And then our third one.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":643.92,"end_s":650.56,"text":"And today we get to start off with donuts. Someone brought donuts in for the team. So","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":650.56,"end_s":656.08,"text":"I've got a load of a bunch of games onto this drive here for another project, but for some reason","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":656.8,"end_s":665.92,"text":"this guy is not working at USB 3 speeds. It's only going USB 2. So we're going to get a little bit","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":665.92,"end_s":674.16,"text":"creative and just plug it into a test bench. That way I can transfer at a more reasonable","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":674.16,"end_s":681.52,"text":"speed instead of 30 or 40 megs per second. Okay, we are all hooked up here. I have my","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":682.48,"end_s":690.08,"text":"Steam library drive. Everything's showing up here. Because I do this enough, I've got a few","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":690.08,"end_s":694.72,"text":"scripts that I've put together for copying Steam games and kind of finding where things are.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":695.44,"end_s":703.36,"text":"I don't have something to copy directly from one drive to a secondary drive, but I do have this","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":704.32,"end_s":714.56,"text":"nice script here to dump all of the games and the app IDs for said games","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":717.28,"end_s":722.8,"text":"into a CSV file so that I can copy things manually and typing with one hand sucks.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":722.88,"end_s":732.88,"text":"So now if we go into our games.csv, no, I picked up notepad plus plus for this.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":737.44,"end_s":742.08,"text":"Here we go. Now I can just go and control F for things that I want.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":743.04,"end_s":754.24,"text":"I found marathon and that gives me the friendly name, the internal name, which usually is the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":754.24,"end_s":762.48,"text":"same, but sometimes is different. And then I just got to go into common and grab the","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":795.84,"end_s":802.24,"text":"marathon directory and that will get me going. Since I've got you guys here, I thought I'd show you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":802.24,"end_s":807.12,"text":"the other PowerShell script that I've got for copying things to the system drive.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":808.64,"end_s":816.4,"text":"I created this guy right here, which will ask you for where your Steam library is that you","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":816.4,"end_s":823.36,"text":"want to copy from. And I've got a nice list","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":824.08,"end_s":829.76,"text":"where I can just pick and choose which one's there. And then if I want to pick a bunch,","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":829.76,"end_s":840.32,"text":"then you just control click. And then once you're done, you hit copy games, which I haven't been","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":840.32,"end_s":845.36,"text":"able to get a nice progress bar. So it just kind of looks like it hangs up there. But you can see","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":845.36,"end_s":851.68,"text":"with task manager, we're copying at almost a gig per second. Most of the time makes these things go","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":851.76,"end_s":857.36,"text":"nice and quick. Evan's asked me to do a short. He is off probation by the time this goes up.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":858.0,"end_s":861.84,"text":"So we're going to take a look at this guy. It's a little kind of mobile controller for","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":862.48,"end_s":866.96,"text":"iPhones, connects by MagSafe, all of that type of thing. Here's this guy. Thank you. I think I've got","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":882.88,"end_s":886.32,"text":"the right adapters and whatnot. Okay, plug it in and make sure it works because","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":887.68,"end_s":891.52,"text":"the pins were very sideways when I first found it. Oh, lovely.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":894.56,"end_s":901.84,"text":"Okay, this is on at least. Okay, if it's getting that far. So the base is going to be like that.","speaker":null,"is_sponsor":0},{"start_s":901.84,"end_s":908.8,"text":"Okay, cool. If it's getting that far though, that is working. Cool. I might have slightly not told him the right things. A feature on iPhone is that you can hold your phone vertically or record horizontally. I did not tell David that he should do that and he took it as recorded vertical, but hopefully you still knew the video. We've been working on a project that requires a little bit of paint and Justin just came by and things are not great. Not great. So we're going to go take a look at some of the other pieces that are required for this project and see how they go together and what we can do about it. Okay, so that's all of the panels. All of the panels. Are they going to have this problem? Hmm. This ain't the case for this. Like at all. We've already pulled this apart this far. This back panel is going to be just as bad, isn't it? Everything is going to be just as bad. Oh man. Field trip time. We're going to go over to Logistics and take a look at a different case, see if it's a better candidate for painting. Otherwise, we'll start surfing the internet and see what happens in terms of finding a new candidate. Hello. Oh really? The buns. I'm vlogging things for Sammy because he wants to see a week in Pankrat's land. Oh yeah, I saw you holding the phone all suspicious like and I was like, Pankrat doesn't normally do that. Yeah, no, I don't normally do that. Um, do we have an O11 dynamic? Yes. Thanks, AJ. Say hi to the flow plane people. Either or should be fine. Justin's already found something. Of course, this one's white too. That's not a problem on this one though. We can take it apart and paint it easier. But all of our, oh, the exit pieces are black on that one still, so it might be okay. Yeah, the exit pieces are black. It's fine. Cool. Because all our pieces that are going inside are black. Actually, this thing's a mix. It's panda. Yeah. We still have mesh on a bunch of the panels that would need to be separated. No, no, it's magnet. Oh, is it? Oh my goodness. So much nicer. Okay. Yeah, I think this is going to be the move, Mike. Now, do we order one in or use this one? We can just use this one. I forgot to do my daily worship for Pankrats. Pankrats, we worship you. No. This guy should just, yeah, pops up it out. So that's fine. The feet also unscrew. So these unscrew, that can come off. Okay. Anything that's screwed down will unscrew. But this is, yeah, I'd say this is going to be far easier for me to deal with. Still have space for fans here, fans here, AIO there. So that's fine. We can't vertical mount the GPU in this case, but that's not the end of the world. Or do we have a vertical mount? We might have a vertical mount bracket that will just fit in there. Let's take a look. So there's an O11 dynamic EVO here. It looks like it's a different color on the inside. Oh, and if that one's black, then we don't have to worry about covering up white bits. I have fingers underneath to help. I'm contributing. Oh, I see a riser too. That's good. This one being black actually is kind of nice too. It's also backed. Oh, it's mirrored. It's flipped. Someone's been doing some stuff. Someone's been in here. So there's a riser, but it doesn't actually hook up to a vertical mount. There's boxes in here for other things. Oh, oh, oh. A bright GPU kit in black. That looks like the winner. It's all wise. Of course. That's box number two. We got a second vertical GPU kit. Okay. It feels heavier. Feels heavier. That's a good sign. Oh, that was probably the riser. That was that's problem. But it wasn't. Nice. Okay. Perfect. That's got the riser with it too. I have concerns. I will show you. I will show you concerns. It is much harder to be effective at your job when you have one hand. Oh, it might be okay. Because we've only got a double bracket on here. Even though it's a four-slot GPU, you've only got a double bracket. Well, I'm going to pull these out and then I'm going to see. Looks like we have a winner. We're going to pivot to the O11. I'm going to stick everything back in where it's supposed to go and strip this case down with Justin so that we can send it off for sandblasting. Case has been disassembled enough that we gave it over to Alex, and he's going to find someone to sandblast it for us so that we can paint it. The dude got back already. He can sandblast it. Nice. We're going to try and reassemble this case that we have tore apart. We're going to reassemble this case that we mostly tore apart, and then it can be used for other things again. Hopefully it goes back together nicely. Now, lunch time. Evan wants me to review a video for him, so that's what I'm going to do next. Lunch is done now. I am headed over to the other side for a shoot with the rest of the writers doing a video on opinions, so I expect there should be some good debate. I'm here a little bit early, so we're still setting up. This is what the other side looks like. I'm going to see what I can do to help set up. This is how I'm helping. Thank you, David. We good to go? We're good to go. Sweet. We're good to go. What? Maybe we're not good to go. Shoot is all wrapped up. Elijah's cleaning up some of the tape that we put down. I've got about an hour left for the day. Let's see what else we can get finished. This is a setup that Sean and I have been working on a little bit. We've got a system here hooked up to an HDMI splitter, which one side of it goes into a capture card, which goes to a laptop and a monitor, but the other side of it goes into this guy, a little PCIe KVM, so that we can have someone working remotely to do some emerytuting for us. And we're recording the whole thing with a little security camera over there. And we're going to get some nice time-lapse footage. So I got the camera and that's going to be recording this guy here. Evan is interested in seeing how many VMs we can have nested into something for a short, so I'm going to do a little bit of testing with a bench and we'll see how far we can get. Just start with Hyper-V and put a Hyper-V on a Hyper-V on a Hyper-V, I guess. Okay, so what I've done is I have sysprepped my VM so that I can grab the virtual hard drive and throw that into a shared folder on my main host. And then when I'm making new VMs, I can literally just copy that virtual hard drive in. I've got most of the work done for me already and that should speed things up a lot. Okay, VM2 is running. Here's VM1. So you got that running in a window and here is VM2. Time for morning stand-up though. We'll have all of the writers kind of come together and talk about what we're going to do for the day. I'm doing a little bit of discovery into how far you can nest VMs for a short. So far I'm three deep and we'll see how far that can go. And then I want to focus mostly on red bull stuff. We had to pivot the case on the one that we're painting because during this assembly we found that the mesh that is in the height does not come out nicely and doing it with heat causes the mesh to melt and the... It's just like case that we already bought a sacrolet. Yeah, we were able to return the old one so we didn't actually end up standing significantly more money. We'll try to return this one too. This one's at a point where I don't think we could return it nicely because the cops work a bunch. Those are the grounds upon which you return it. Going to start my third nested VM. I can already tell you this isn't hope. The processor setting for the virtual machine is incompatible. A remote RAM tuning project needs a little bit of help so I'm going to be swapping out the storage on the screen capture and kind of resetting things. I've got everything powered off right now because it was all frozen up. 4TB SSD and go straight to that SSD. Okay, okay. We'll start the screen recording again. Let's power this guy back up and see where we get to. If not, what I might have to do is use that little guy there. Oh, still stuck there. That's the guy I want. Now there's some signs of life. Come on, post screen. Hey, there we go. Okay, I made a few changes to my virtual machine stuff and I think we're in a spot where we should be able to go. There we go. Our third nested VM. What you would use this for? I have no idea. Okay, so I've got all of my VMs and my main host kind of all lined up here. I think you'll be able to tell pretty quickly what the experience is like, just clicking on the start menu and everything. So here's the main host. It's fine. Here's the first VM. It's also pretty good. Second nested VM. You can see it's already starting to get a bit slower. And then our third one. And today we get to start off with donuts. Someone brought donuts in for the team. So I've got a load of a bunch of games onto this drive here for another project, but for some reason this guy is not working at USB 3 speeds. It's only going USB 2. So we're going to get a little bit creative and just plug it into a test bench. That way I can transfer at a more reasonable speed instead of 30 or 40 megs per second. Okay, we are all hooked up here. I have my Steam library drive. Everything's showing up here. Because I do this enough, I've got a few scripts that I've put together for copying Steam games and kind of finding where things are. I don't have something to copy directly from one drive to a secondary drive, but I do have this nice script here to dump all of the games and the app IDs for said games into a CSV file so that I can copy things manually and typing with one hand sucks. So now if we go into our games.csv, no, I picked up notepad plus plus for this. Here we go. Now I can just go and control F for things that I want. I found marathon and that gives me the friendly name, the internal name, which usually is the same, but sometimes is different. And then this app ID and app manifest, which you need to copy that over as well. If you want to skip the whole verifying game after you've transferred things. So just as an example for this marathon one here, I can go into my drive, my Steam library, and we're looking for 306 5800 306 5800. It's right there. And I can copy this guy into the destination steam apps directory. And then I just got to go into common and grab the marathon directory and that will get me going. Since I've got you guys here, I thought I'd show you the other PowerShell script that I've got for copying things to the system drive. I created this guy right here, which will ask you for where your Steam library is that you want to copy from. And then it will parse all of the games that are there. And I've got a nice list where I can just pick and choose which one's there. And then if I want to pick a bunch, then you just control click. And then once you're done, you hit copy games, which I haven't been able to get a nice progress bar. So it just kind of looks like it hangs up there. But you can see with task manager, we're copying at almost a gig per second. Most of the time makes these things go nice and quick. Evan's asked me to do a short. He is off probation by the time this goes up. So we're going to take a look at this guy. It's a little kind of mobile controller for iPhones, connects by MagSafe, all of that type of thing. I'm going to be moving on to another shoot helping out with building a computer, just doing the B roll though. But before that, I need to go get a screen for Robert to play around with some animations for that other crazy build that we were working on earlier. Here's this guy. Thank you. I think I've got the right adapters and whatnot. Okay, plug it in and make sure it works because the pins were very sideways when I first found it. Oh, lovely. Okay, this is on at least. Okay, if it's getting that far. So the base is going to be like that. Okay, cool. If it's getting that far though, that is working. Cool. So it should be good for you once you get the software installed. Okay. Yeah, I got a little bit, I haven't done too much with this yet just getting it set up. But yeah, I want to try like the angle. And right now it's just some screen flickering, but I want to try to have like some camera flashes. Yeah, like some soccer ball is going by or stuff like that. So yeah, if you can imagine that wrapped around wrapped around that. And then we've got a little figure that's going to stand in the stage there. Hey, we're back on set. Hello. This is what we're going to be building. I'm going to go grab my laptop so that I have a copy of the script down here and know what I'm doing. Got a little bit of time at the end of the day. So what I'm doing is we had disassembled this case and couldn't figure out where this piece went. I did find out where it goes after looking at the other version of the case. And it is on this top bit here. I wouldn't even screw that though. It's a good thing that there's one in arms reach. So that goes right on here. Something like that there. I accidentally ran the battery dead yesterday. So we missed a bunch of this morning. So far today, what I've done is go over to ShortCircuit and I did some coverage of the Moto Watch 2026. And that's been about it. I'm going to go over to the other side and pick up some stuff. I think there are some glass panes for Justin to do some etching with for that PC build project. And I'm going to get set up to build some equipment that we're going to use for another video. Hello. I'm looking for those glass panels. Yeah, that should have came in yesterday. Some failed pieces. We're just going to put these guys down right here. You didn't actually get the payoff seeing what I built yesterday. So this is the finished machine. Not a bad little system for a thousand bucks, even considering the current climate with all of the crazy prices on RAM and storage. We're going to scope out a spot in the warehouse here for setting up this gym equipment that we've got. You don't have a meeting here soon, do you? Okay, I've got to set up some gym equipment for a video. Oh, no. They said somewhere over here by the exit. You guys use this space for stuff though, right? Yeah, like you can't kill this. I've got a camera set up on the corner of the standing desk that we're going to time-lapse it with, and Braden's going to help me. So that's what it is. That's what we set up. It's strange. I am not a stranger to gym equipment, and this is one of the stranger pieces of equipment that I've ever used. I know that today I've got a bit of stuff that I can focus on. I'm going to try and get all of the pieces for those larger builds that we've been working on earlier in the week, and put those together, maybe get the OS installed and all the software set up. I've got my four screws, my four spacers, and those guys there. Throw this in my box, and we'll bring that back over to the other side. Because of availability constraints, we've had to get a solid state drive with a heat sink for these builds, but we don't actually want the heat sink anymore, so I'm going to have to take these apart, and Samsung has used these pentalobe screws on it. Thankfully, we have a solution for that. Perfect. I'm going to not do this with one hand, though. There we go. It's the rich, gooey center of what's under the heat sink. I'm going to stick it in this guy, and we're going to use this to image it over with a standard image so that I can get things going for it. Connect them down there, and this is the software that I've been using for doing a bunch of the imaging. I have a couple of just base images ready to go. There we go. New CPU installed. We'll just head into the BIOS real quick. Throw on our expo. Save that. Okay. Now, if everything work does expect it, we should get Windows. Memory chaining takes a while. There you have it. Windows starting. Thanks for watching. If you liked this, give it a thumbs up so that Sammy knows that he can go and make more of these types of things. Speaking about Sammy, he did one where he took the phone for a week and kind of covered what he did, too."}
