that CPU working for it though hey remember when you download a game from steam you're doing more than just stressing your network interface you're also hitting your CP ah a hundred percent CPU load right now des yep even if we were on wired I don't think we'd be downloading games any faster than round 50-ish megabytes a second oh I had wanted to check out maximum display oh shoot it on the controller oh wait now I do flip that switch 60 Hertz is a downer high refresh rate display that's that's a must for Rev to of this guy goes nice and dim too which is something that I think a lot of battery that is quite the situation they got up in there so it's like a 3-cell 57 watt hours dang I'm actually expecting the battery life on this thing to be pretty darn good now this is this is this is a little flimsy feeling so that explains why it felt like it had a lot of flex no heat pipes or anything they're just blowing straight out of the chassis I've got one end got to slot right here oh I lied there's a heat pipe right there oh boy there's a lot of different kinds of screws in here already wrought row let's see what else have we got in here there's actually two heat pipes so one of them goes over to this heat exchanger and the other one goes over to this one it's just a CPU there's no dedicated graphics in here but it is using Intel's iris pro graphics so that should put it on par with an entry-level laptop graphics card curiously they've gone with a soldered on solution for the Wi-Fi card I guess that's just a space-saving matter kind of makes sense okay and sincerely hope I'm not breaking whatever this is what on earth is this thing what is on the other side oh gods the joystick why did I take this apart okay just put that back together and hope we didn't ruin it really gives you an appreciation for how small it is to see how much space in here has taken up by things like the joysticks the mechanisms for the shoulder buttons think of it 512 gigs of storage plus microSD is a lot of expansion in here you're not gonna be putting a double stacked and vme drive on there though only enough room for the ones with chips on one side I mean still not too shabby make sure it still works okay okay good yeah cool so uh reason I was freaking out these are not cheap they are anywhere from around 780 US dollars to I think after the IndieGoGo campaign they're gonna be like mid eight hundred US dollars for one of these puppies so yeah not cheap but there's just nothing else quite like this so I'm gonna get some firmware updates rolling on it spend some time with
